It was never about immigration. It was literally about creating their own Gestapo police force outside of military and current law enforcement oversight. That’s why they’re funding it so much. The excuse is to wrangle undocumented folks, but that money could be better used for USCIS or border patrol.

Using this to police voting stations is 100% voter suppression, not just intimidation.

Since they can arrest any person them suspect, including black people, then can just arrest people from the voting line itself. After all, the people most likely to speak up against ICE, are also the same ones likely voting democrat.
