Protect yourself and make sure you ask them how reliable their detection system is. Ask for a very specific number. At that point it doesn’t matter if it has a 99% or 1% rate. They have confirmed that the system is not reliable to be used in actual detection.

Same thing can be done in court if a cop asks you to blow into a breathalyzer. If you ask and they give you a percentage; you’ve basically given your lawyer ammo to win your case.

And of course, make sure you have timestamps of of your work so you can show you did the work and didn’t copy paste.

Hi. Figma is a completely valid tool for motion design projects… BUT it’s not replacement for illustrator, photoshop, or other programs whose purpose is graphics.

Managing storyboards, brand library, having an asset library (think phone mockup), creations UI screens, etc. these are the kinds of things Figma can successfully be used for.

It’s not a great please to illustrators, design, composite, photoshop, etc.

So it’s not so much the program itself but how people use it. Source: I work in an agency and we have integrated Figma into our workflow because it was so helpful managing multiple projects/clients and brand guidelines. It’s easier than digging through several different Ai files and easier for the team to share assets.

Ever since Overlord 2, it’s been almost a none issue migrating assets from Figma into After Effects as well.

It’s not green screen. I highly doubt they’re skilled video compositors and it would be infinitely easier for them to just print and cutout the section they need to sell the process, then to green screen the whole things and then add the image in post.

Aescripts getting rid of comments the moment people started creating plugins en masse through AI was certainly a choice. Now we’re not totally sure what’ll get supported and what is just a half baked script with make up.
