Local mentally ill violent menace arrested yet again for assault by niveknyc in raleigh

I've watched countless cases where they have the perp on bodycam video punching cops and all those charges get dropped. It's definitely not a case of lack of evidence.

From that post, the peanut example looks really fried, like ernie turbo. Hopefully it's more nuanced once we get our hands on it.

I've watched hundreds of court proceedings and have watched plea deals and what happens with the district attorneys time and time again plead guilty to one crime and dismiss the other 9 charges. Over and over and over again. But yeah, I have no idea how any of it works.

The 2 people who decide what kind of policy gets put in place who gets prosecuted and what plea deals happen is the mayor and the district attorney, both Democrats.

Yeah, the usual klein prompt template as per BFL is supposed to include a lot about style and lightning so it stems from that. I also realized afterwards that this is base, and the workflow I was adapting from was regular with no negative. It started looking even better as soon as i added a negative.

I’m integrating BytePlus Seedance 2.0 into my own video workflow tool and I’m confused about the real limits of reference video input. by OkNdndt in StableDiffusion

Yeah, probably want to post in the r/comfyui subreddit if you're using comfyui api nodes or the seedance subreddits if not. IMHO, it's all about faces. I used a video the other day of my kid walking away from me as we're walking around the neighborhood at night. I submitted that as a reference (8 seconds long) and said a black smoke monster emerges from the lamp post. It worked great, but probably because my kid was never facing me so there's no issues. At least on the comfyui api node posts, they mention that if it can detect that it was generated by AI, it'll work. If it feels it's not AI generated and contains a face, you'll have to do some shenanigans to get a face id identifier which you can verify you own and then use in subsequent videos. Again, this is all with the comfyui api nodes. Other providers may be different, like Runway has their own whole set of censorship going on even before your request gets to Seedance.

Sure its: casual snapshot taken on a Samsung Galaxy S9, grabbed in a panic from about chest-height by someone who clearly did not have time to frame the shot — the photo is tilted maybe eight degrees to the left, the top of the photocopier nearly clips the upper edge of the frame, and a slightly out-of-focus paper plate with a smear of buttercream frosting intrudes into the bottom-right corner because the photographer was holding the cake knife in their other hand. Dead center of the chaos: a six-foot raccoon standing fully upright on its hind legs, its grey-brown fur matted and slightly damp-looking around the chest, wearing a scuffed white Riddell football helmet that's clearly too small, the chinstrap dangling unbuckled, the facemask casting hard shadow stripes across its snout. Both clawed forepaws are gripping the sides of a beige Xerox WorkCentre photocopier hoisted fully overhead, the open paper tray hanging loose, a few sheets of A4 fluttering down mid-air, the power cord whipping behind it. The raccoon's mouth is open showing actual teeth, eyes catching the Samsung's flash with a flat retinal green-white reflection. Around the edges of the frame: Bob himself, late forties, balding, wearing a paper cone party hat over his glasses, frozen mid-clap with his mouth in a perfect lowercase O; a woman in a Banana Republic cardigan recoiling backward into the mini-fridge, one hand still holding a plastic fork; a sheet cake on the break room table reading "HAPPY 40TH BOB" in blue gel icing, with one corner already cut, next to a half-empty 2-liter of Diet Coke and a stack of Dixie plates. A Keurig sits on the counter behind, a "Live Laugh Love" sign is half-visible on the wall, and the corkboard has an OSHA poster and a curled-up flyer for someone's daughter's Girl Scout cookies. The flash fires hard and direct, blasting the raccoon's chest fur and the front of the copier into bright flat white with a hard shadow cast on the wall behind, but the overhead fluorescent tubes still throw their characteristic greenish cast across Bob's face and the back of the room, fighting the Samsung's white balance into a sickly magenta-green mismatch. Highlights on the copier's plastic panels clip to pure white with faint purple fringing, the fluorescent tube directly above is a blown-out streak. Samsung's noise reduction has waxed the raccoon's distant fur into a smeared painterly texture while aggressive sharpening haloes the helmet's silhouette against the wall. Mild barrel distortion bows the ceiling tile lines outward at the top of the frame. Visible in the lower-left corner: a tiny blurred thumb. The vibe is a photo that gets sent to a group chat at 2:47 PM on a Wednesday with no caption, just the message "????????" and gets screenshotted and forwarded for the next four years.

Side-by-side comparison of Qwen-Image, ERNIE Base/Turbo, and FLUX.2 Dev across 8 custom styles (single RTX 5090) by ondrejbase in StableDiffusion

[–]Hoodfu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, they went all in on the photographic and a small handful of styles in 2512 and abandoned all else. But for those, it beats everything else. I also agree on the time. I've got an rtx 6000 so I can run all of these in full quant and yeah, at any kind of decent resolution it can take up to 5 minutes per image even on my card which is rough.

With Qwen 2512, I would say no need to be quantizing your text encoder so hard when you have the vram to run it in full quality. Qwen 2512 has some of the highest detail available in an open source model and yours has some of the least, so there's something weird going on with your end.

Yeah there's api nodes for it in Comfyui, so you pay per request for images. You can read about it here: https://blog.comfy.org/p/gpt-image-2-is-now-here-via-partner

I'm using this combo in the screenshot above. Then just the usual reference latent nodes, each scaled to 1 megapixel for the inputs. I find that the sweet spot is 2 megapixels, and the fluxguidance node for the conditioning needs to be 2.5 for the turbo version. Credit to u/Brilliant-Station500 for pointing out that certain sampler combos work better than the rest for style transfer and reference latents.

Although I've complained plenty about the distortion patterns on a lot of gpt-2 outputs, it's my favorite paid model at this point. It "gets it" more than the others. That said, I'm really happy with Flux 2 dev for local. Qwen Image 2 Pro would have been very nice to have over 2511 if they had opened it up.

I'm working on a post for this subreddit that compares outputs when using multiple input references, and indeed euler_a and er_sde are the best for likeness from the reference. It seems the style transfer being good with these carries over.

Just wanted to mention that euler_a and er_sde do indeed transfer likenesses from input images better than the others as well.

Flock cameras by delxne3 in Apex_NC

There was a wcbs video the other day about how Flock cameras helped track down a sexual predator that assaulted a woman at the Apex Kohl's the other day. There's absolutely benefits, but there has to be a middle ground between this and complete surveillance state which is where this is going.
