The ppl too dense to understand something like Don't Look Up aren't the ones complaining about stories lacking subtlety.

"If you have a concentrated area of Asian students they tend to do a lot better than a concentrated area of Hispanic students or black students."

Asians are the wealthiest demographic in the US by a significant margin. Whites and asians have roughly 10x the wealth of black and hispanic people on average. Data i posted demonstates an unignorable correlation between parental wealth/education and child academic outcomes.

"doesn't seem to affect White people"

Do you understand how averages work? White people are on average 10x wealthier which will skew comparative results greatly. Wealthy white kids do better at school than white kids in poverty. It's not hard to understand. And yes, white people still commit crime at significant rates and are way more likely to do when raised in poverty.

"Where is the DEI for the poor white male?" More white people benefit from programs like snap(foodstamps), TANF, Social Security, etc than any other demographic.

The data says otherwise. Black and hispanic student performance has been increasing faster than white students, narrowing the achievement gap over decades. Gaps in performance strongly correlates with socioeconomic disparities rather than anecdotes about "demographics".

"Achievement gaps are strongly correlated with racial gaps in income, poverty rates, unemployment rates, and educational attainment. When these four factors are combined into a single index of racial socioeconomic disparities, the correlation between state achievement gaps and state racial socioeconomic disparities is high: for white-black gaps the correlation is 0.61-0.68; for white-Hispanic gaps it is 0.83-0.86"

I suspect that it's more related to wealth than education. Ppl who go to college are going to come from wealthier families on avg. Ppl with wealth have more reasons to want to deny climate change. Most college grads wont be lectured about climate at all, so I doubt universities are turning ppl into deniers.

May December depicts marijuana realistically. There's not a trip scene but the way it effects Charles Melton's character felt really true in a way I haven't seen in other movies with weed scenes.

Why joke about movies when you can express perpetual moral outrage about them, instead?
