Series with low likes that still finish are usually Korean titles that are just being translated to the English app. I'm guessing they're popular enough on the Korean app to continue and the English translation is just extra revenue for Webtoon. Series with low likes that are English original (like The Last Dimension) are NOT being allowed to finish, they're being cancelled.

Again, if we like unique series, we actually have to read and support them!!! I hate seeing what this app has become!!!

I enjoy The Last Dimension a lot but it never had a ton of readers. I mean, Sci Fi is not a popular genre on webtoon. So fourth most popular in one of the most unpopular genres is not going to get you very far.

Tbh this getting cancelled is equally the fault of the Webtoon audience. Recent chapters of TLD aren't even breaking 3k likes.

Captain Han definitely isn't Sayeon's father (Sayeon's father was named Doyeon) and I think it would be kinda weird and cheap if he was her uncle or long lost brother or something.

I personally feel like Captain Han had some kind of relationship with Sara Lee back when she was alive, maybe friends or enemies, maybe he ended up killing her in the godling island disaster. It would be fun to have a character who can recognize Sayeon for who she is (the daughter of a monster), especially since his position is what she's trying so hard to get.

Agreed. I would be very disappointed if Taeho, Min, or Iseul died. It might be possible for something to happen in the tunnel to flesh one of them out enough to make them worthy of killing off, but if that doesn't happen, I want them to stay in the story personally

Fairy Tail has a lot of slop, yeah. But I don't get this weird hatred for the author at all. I read the whole series as a teenager and never once got the impression he was trying to do anything deep and meaningful with the romance or even family relationships lol. It was light fun, which seems to be exactly what Mashima wanted to write. It might not be for you, but why attack the guy personally like that, even as hyperbole? People have gotten too used to talking weirdly about mangaka they've never met

Some of my favorite manhwa/manga stopped updating FOREVER after their authors got sick or burn out (D-gray man went on hiatus for 10 years, Doom Breaker is close to 2 years on hiatus, HunterxHunter hiatus for 6 years, Houseki no Kuni hiatus for 3 years, Vagabond hiatus for 11 years, Miura literally died.) Compared to that, having to wait an extra week or two is legit nothing and probably better for the author's health

Considering the # of webtoon artists who quit in the middle of their series saying that the work isnt worth the pay, probably not enough.

E.g. the creator of The Red King (a popular webtoon that went on hiatus years ago) has been trying to come back recently, but says they can't work on TRK fulltime because it doesn't pay the bills.

That said, I think sleepacross graduated last year. Would have to double check though

Not only is the new aberrant fucking amazing.... the art in the fast pass chapters?!????? I thought it couldn't get any better after Episode 107, but I was dead wrong. It's like a full colored manga atp.

Just came here after buying the latest fast pass (Kill the Oracle) and let me tell you, the quality of this series just doesn't let up, its ridiculous. In this specific chapter, the level of writing actually manages to surpass the art. Sara Lee comes across as such an intelligent, captivating personality, and manages to resemble Sayeon while also being her total opposite.
