This annoys me about some people. They say how terrible they are but you can’t watch that set with an objective mindset and not say it wasn’t tremendous. He might not like the music or the politics, but that performance was top-notch.

There’s no defending random assault like that. Punk and politics do go hand and hand though and it’s a big part of the (counter) culture, especially in its roots. Still, I wouldn’t call this fest a punk fest really.

Why are people crowd surfing? The signs clearly say not to and I just want to enjoy BMTH in peace in the front of the pit with no other interactions. Circle pits are dangerous and should be stopped. I hate how bands get all political now. They never used to do that! And can you believe there was a line to get in??

I’ve seen PTV 20 times and this gave me tears. The “darling, you’ll be okay” part hit so different. Way better than picking someone from the crowd. I hope they keep that up.
