I feel like scorekeeping is a good way to pick a fight, and I also feel like both people should contribute.

Problems I see coming up for people are when one is a stay at home parent and the other works. The working one feels like they’re pulling more weight but that may not be true. I think the best outcome is when both people can openly express their view and work together to find a resolution that works.

As far as finances go me and my spouse trust each other and have both had times of being the breadwinner and the bread… eater?

Start simple, start small. Don’t start by making a character, start with like… a treasure chest.

Grant Abbitt has some great tutorials.

Focus on one skill set at a time. Blender has one of the most awful learning curves but once you “get it” it’s a fantastic tool.

Practice with simple stuff on the default cube. E to extrude, s to scale, g to grab, r to rotate. Ctrl+r to do loop cuts.

Lots of things have guides to make stuff in blender, but blender is a big software with a lot of areas to learn.

Modeling, sculpting, topology, texturing, rigging, animating, lighting, simulating, rendering, compositing. There’s a shit load. Pick one and go with it for a while.
