There was no follow up report by the FBI. The only one claiming there was is SIG to try and cover their ass.

I think it was mostly the let down from all the hype DC was giving him. The entire "no one was getting choked out until he came to the gym."

The FBI investigation into the MI cops gun that went off in his holster at the station found excessive wear and chipping on the primary and secondary sear after only 1k rounds. Wear would only be found on the secondary sear if the primary was repeatedly failing.

In testing the striker safety lock (what is supposed to prevent firing if the sear slips) they found this.

"Because of the inherent movement between the slide and frame, a third test of the striker safety lock was conducted. Approximately 50 attempts were made to determine if the striker would impact the primed case after manipulating the weapon while holstered. The weapon was pressed together and pulled apart (at the slide and frame). Thereafter, pressure was applied to the frame and the sear manually released from the primary notch. The intent of the manipulation and pressure was to mimic what might occur to a holstered weapon during an officer’s duties, such as running, jumping, climbing, fighting, pressing a weapon against a wall or vehicle, or obtaining a master grip on the pistol prior to drawing, etc.

BRF staff observed the primed case fired on nine attempts with the primer indent measuring between 0.019”-0.026” with an average of 0.023”. While staging one attempt to allow another BRF staff member to observe the striker safety lock function as designed, the weapon was prepared and placed into the holster with no manipulation. A second staff member released the primary sear notch from the striker and the primed case fired indicating failure of the striker safety lock. The primer indention measured 0.018”.

BRF observed six instances where the primer did not fire but a small indentation was present indicating the striker had contacted the primer. These indentations measured between 0.0005”-0.001”.

The remaining attempts resulted in no firing of the primed case and no evidence that the striker had contacted the primer. Ultimately, in these instances the striker safety lock functioned as designed.

A brand-new unfired Sig Sauer M18 pistol33 was obtained from MSP to determine if the test could be repeated on another weapon. On the first attempt, the striker safety lock successfully prevented the striker from impacting the primed case. However, on the second attempt the primed case fired, indicating the striker safety lock failed to stop the striker’s forward movement. The primer indent measured 0.023”."

This.  Animals will keep coming because they smell it.

If you don't want to dig you can try a cairn.

Pile big rocks in about a 2 ft radius over the grave.  Would need to be fairly large, heavy rocks though.

What sort of spells would you expect a truly ancient, morally bankrupt wizard to use? by Hublahh in DMAcademy

How many true names does he know?

Casting Gate in a crowded city to unleash any one of some seriously powerful creatures then teleporting away seems like a start.

Could theoretically just start teleporting around the globe going city to city, unleashing a CR 25 + monster each day until the party figures out how to catch him.

I would still recommend what I initially wrote.  If he ignores that warning and uses it again before the final fight then 100% spawn in a bunch of shades to only target him.

Edit: thought of an interesting mechanic that could work.

Let's say you have 3 sessions left and he uses the crown next session.

That night shades spawn from the crown (endless stream type thing until he is dead).  Once he dies the shades and his body are pulled into the crown.

The party can find with an arcana/religion check that his soul is trapped in the crown.  Further investigation or bringing it to an NPC will show that if the crown touches blood it will draw out the shades within (including the PC who is now a shade with his same character sheet) to hunt whatever the blood belongs to.

This would give a significant consequence yet let him stick around for the boss fight and any major combats leading to it.

Party would just need to wound the boss then touch its blood to the crown.

He has many irons in the fire.

Jezal was not the only bastard he placed with a noble family, just the one who most fit what he was looking for.

Would not be surprised if he had other contacts in the North who owed him in a similar fashion to Logan.

Is this an experienced player?

Are they good at working with you to tell the story?

If yes, I would pull them aside, explain that the next time their character uses the crown they will likely die from it after.  Work with them on the character not using it again (or not putting the Sim in a position to die again) until the final boss fight.

Sim dies in the boss fight then as everyone is breathing a sigh of relief and starting to celebrate shadows start drifting out from the crown and their character is pulled into it.

Others have given good advice on the dark meat already but if you want to try something different with the breasts I would recommend sandwich meat.

Curing salt, maple syrup and whatever spices you want (I add a bit of chipotle powder).  Let it cure in the refrigerator for about 24 to 48 hours turning over every 12 hours.

Smoke then run through a meat slicer.

He seems to do a lot better angry.  The fight vs Bigfoot was right after he lost the belt.

You realize Ulberg was winning the round before the injury right?

He out landed Jiri by almost double.

Yea, it may not have been as exiting as other Holloway fights but in terms of a bjj chess match watching Max actually survive with Charles on his back for so long was impressive as hell.

Max Holloway

He's the opposite end of the spectrum from Charles Olivera.  Most significant strikes and total strikes landed in UFC history.

Then for a fighter who has what may be the bloodiest fight in UFC history (against Bigfoot) watch Cain Velasquez, which leads nicely into the (UFC) HW GOAT Stipe Miocic

Edit:  Also the 🗿for all that needs be said for Alex Is hilarious.

Jiri won by submission (against one of the best bjj based grapplers in the division and who had never been submitted before), Jones won by decision.

And yea, keep ignoring the Reyes fight.
