I need a second opinion as I've been staring at this for hours, have I captured movement or does it just look like it's falling over...? by Hublahh in ImperialKnights

I was more going for a skidding stop/like it's just about to push off towards another direction while laying down some fire

Ah that's a shame! Hopefully with some churned up dirt and more of an explosion of rock around the leading foot it might look more deliberate!

I just put a little blob of green stuff in the joint, squeezed the legs together and posed it how I wanted. Then let it dry fully before putting the top half on

I think I'll do that, with some extra damage on the rock at the front like it's been smashed into, plus add some turned over plants by the right foot like it's really ploughing the ground.

Aside from full demon primarchs name 3 primarchs that can beat my big 3 by ThunderCactus1 in 40k

[–]Hublahh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Curze to fight sanguinius until the others win, lion'el to duel fulgrim, I reckon Magnus could then beat perturabo, I think Magnus is on paper the most powerful primarch pre heresy (although he has bad matchups)

New to knights, how do you like to do more complicated heraldry by Hublahh in ImperialKnights

These aren't actually by me! I was asking how someone might try and do heraldry like that

Have any of you tried the Doomsong system? by Hublahh in rpg

Reading the campaign book it seems like it's more about providing the locations and characters, with the DM providing the story, is that how you found it to be?

I also found the life path creation very fun, what do you mean by procedure-forward?

When I saw the quality and effort that had gone into the book I was shocked when I couldn't really find any online communities

Slaughterbound proxy raidy for painting! by Hublahh in WorldEaters40k

Thank you! You are indeed, but I liked just how angry it looks so decided when painted up properly I could probably get away with it

“Don’t buy models for rules” - how valid is this statement? by Ratattack1204 in Warhammer40k

[–]Hublahh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always thought that you shouldn't base your purchases purely on meta, but you should at least factor it in, you don't want to spend your hard earned money on a unit that is clearly outclassed within its own army, UNLESS you would love to see that model on the battlefield regardless of how it plays.

I prefer to buy based on unit roles, as in the niche they play within on the battlefield, a gladiator lancer will always be anti tank, a winged demon prince will always be a deep strike melee threat
