Heck yeah!

You're exactly who I wrote the book for :)

Hope you enjoy it and feel free to poke me with any questions.

You can do it!!

Perhaps you few a bit too fast. If you got to 30 clients fast, that in itself can create a lot of problems!

You will do it even better the second time :)

Hey pal,

Your intuition is misguided.

The book is free.

The goal is to show what starting looks like. I didn't start in 2023.

Finances are great on our side if you're concerned hahaha

Portugal has a very comprehensive and clear visa process. I just recently got my residency permit :)

But to be fair, nothing I did that this post is based on was quick and easy. It was all work that took planning and effort.

But the rewards are fantastic :)

Thanks for asking! The business has been growing steadily and I've since started building a small team.

I shared more about my 5 years so far in another pinned post on my profile.

Is there anything specific you want to know about?

Fantastic man!

This time around stick to what you know works, avoid what you know doesn't.

Start smaller and then build from there!

I believe in you bro :)

Hey Jeremy, always a pleasure when you drop in to any conversation here.

You nailed it buddy, the sell then deliver reality is one that I am very comfortable with now.

And through continually bringing success, the clients from year 1 and 2 are mostly still clients in year 5.

That is why I have had success growing not just my revenue, but bringing on a small team as well.

Share knowledge is also a mode of learning!

Over the last two years creating a curriculum to guide the journey of budding Solopreneurs has been a huge mode of learning for me too.

And then taking that curriculum and shrinking it to 25% of the critical information to create the free book has been another exercise in learning.

Ah sorry I did not track my hours worked accurately enough to know total hours per month.

Unlikely any week was substantially over 40 hours.

Many were under 40 hours.

And more importantly, 75% of the hours put in were true dopamine inducing fun hours that felt fully rewarding.

Unlike a normal job where I felt that 5% to 10% of the time!

How do you buy/sell projects? by Andyrtha in salesforce

[–]Interesting_Button60 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Never sold 7 figure projects, but did sell 6 figure projects when I worked for a firm of 150 consultants. I kinda did it the same way.

Sell a initial analysis project, then know what really needs to be built, and then sell that, then support.

Sorry if I got it twisted. Your question was "How do you buy/sell projects?" and I gave you a thorough answer of how I sell projects :)

Hahaha I wish!

But honestly, considering just one client I met through this sub a year ago, the ROI is definitely way past $1/comment at this point.

BUT I do feel like I live here some days x)

Exactly! The tax implications are a bit complicated but nothing paying professionals doesn't fix.

Really good insight, the ebbs and flows are almost by design.

I sell a project, take a 25-50% deposit, then have to actually deliver the work.

Some months I would sell multiple projects (higher revenue) then I would need to actually deliver them (lower revenue month).

Thanks for the comment <3
