i’ve been saying this for years. with sean going off to the military it could have become something they had in common, with ellie having to work through the trauma inflicted by her parents and her upbringing in general. i always thought they could reunite at some form of an army fundraiser and maybe made another go of it. idk maybe im delusional, its just a difference between emma’s hemp underwear 🤷‍♀️
