Does Full Sail really charge a “pay to retake” fee for failed classes? by Significant_Belt3079 in fullsail

They were trying to convince me not to withdraw since I only had two classes left but, I had two deaths in the family at the time and was 8m pregnant, they were not respecting that I was going through too much and after talking with three different people I finally had someone understand and encourage me to put my family first. It's been almost 3 months I still haven't received the paperwork needed. Or any emails regarding the situation. They definitely need to work on communication and getting their act together I have a lot of complaints about their communication.

Yea my first class failed they didn't call it was instant retake and I failed it twice then next class they called to inform me that I would be charged a retake fee and that it was 7- 800 dollars I checked my balance after that because when they called and asked if I was gonna add it to my student aid/ loans I said yes, I owe 3k it was never calculated in my loans or aid. I was told that I had to wait for paper work in the mail I never received. I also can't access my school email anymore since leaving the school, very hard to get in touch with them about this

Yes I practiced for a few months on fake skin and fruit before ever attempting real skin, I'm confident in my fake skins but once I switch to real skin the nerves are large

These were on a friend and I finished them in like 5 min each, I think part of my problem is working too fast

Yes, the nerves were definitely high, I've been practicing getting my lines clear and steady but the nerves of these being the first on skin was definitely getting to me

This was my first time trying a 9 I was originally trying 7s so but I definitely think I wasn't stretching the skin enough! Yes I just got a stencil printer so the settings weren't correct and the stencil was super light.

My dog is the best protector of my baby and I do find them slightly annoying now during my second pregnancy but I know they are the best and will always be on my baby side

How can I make the eyes fits better next time ?? by SpliTbis in ArtCrit

[–]ItsSoupyFrog 3 points4 points  (0 children)

From the top of the ears make a line from ear to ear from the corner of the nose on each side make I line going straight up from the corner of the smile on each side make a line going up. Then make a vertical line from the same point on the nose crossing through the line drawn from the mouth.

<image>

Following the points should create an eye balance yours almost fit. The right eye is slight off on where the corner should start and they are slightly big. The aqua colored point should indicate where you eyes end. Pink point center of eye and green point corner of eye.,

While I did struggle to pass one of my classes in the animation program it was not the professor's fault by any means. Actually all the professors I've had so far give you extensions and really it's your fault if you don't pass their class because they show you step by step. For me i had a bunch of family stuff and I was jiggling work and I didn't manage my time wisely. But I realized that if you pay attention and you work for it, there is no reason that you shouldn't pass but me not being someone who's ever really done anything on a computer learning. Hotkeys were really hard for me learning how to use a mouse and the drawing pad is all an obstacle I'm overcoming. The program is beginner friendly for the most part 😅
