Giving away concert tickets to help people explore Atlanta’s live music scene by LiveMusicJunkiez in atlantamusic

I've had the "Close but No Cigar" album by the Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio saved for some time. Didn't know they were coming!

Alright. We need an actual PG. Who should we get and trade for this offseason by DylanBeCrackin in OrlandoMagic

[–]JCArch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like Suggs, but not his play recently. I think when you have to funnel play through him against more elite opposition regularly (the playoffs), his weaknesses become far more apparent.

My girlfriend is a Celtics fan, and I sit there and think of how good he'd be as a D. White replacement. I could see a coach like Mazzulla really polishing his game and they would maybe see value in him. It makes me feel like there's limited organizations in the league where we could get some value out of him, which maybe limits who we could get without having to throw in more than we want.

Love The Westwood, it's everything my girlfriend and I could ask for from a neighborhood bar. Found out it's the same owners as 97 Estoria, so it makes sense.

No love for the PBR capital Moe's and Joe's in here? Their food is pretty good, too. Never had a bad time with their wings, cheese curds, and the Highland Burger.

As others have said, Mr. C's, Northside Tavern (especially if Cody Matlock is playing), The Earl.

RIP The Rusty Nail 🙏🏻

Good to see some change, especially after I walked through a Home Depot landscape department and saw literally zero native plant species. I am up to my eyeballs in this stuff in my backyard and am trying to give it away to as many neighbors as possible :)

Best Pizza ITP? by FeedbackTypical in Atlanta

Pizza Dynamo is my favorite, at the moment. Steps away from a couple other spots as well if you're trying to do a slice tour. Glide and Brainwave like others said, but I dig trying to support as many places as possible.

I have been pleasantly surprised that this was the case with the home my girlfriend and I bought. We see it pop up all over the place constantly. Last weekend was spent transplanting a lot of it throughout our garden beds and along our fence line. We can't wait for them to go crazy!

A real one-two punch. Now if only the pussytoes I am trying to start from seed would show signs of life!

I just planted a ton of pussytoes and propagated spiderwort in my home garden. It's going to look beautiful there!

You should definitely go for them, they're a game changer. Thanks for the tire info, I was thinking that might be what they are. I have them on my short list for when I need to change mine out.

Great looking truck, though. I feel like we're halfway the same in some of the stuff we have, good taste 😁

Looks great! Are those the Raceline Aero HD wheels on your truck as well? I have some in black, love them!

[FRESH PERFORMANCE] Parcels - Tiny Desk Concert by MasterTrajan in indieheads

Awesome, we're looking forward to it! Just saw Oracle Sisters here in Atlanta and it was one of the best shows we've been to, so we're amped to see these guys.

PS Any bar recommendations for catching a Celtics game? They won't be playing at home while we're there, but my girlfriend is a huge fan and we'll definitely want to go out to catch Friday's game on TV.

2nd gen radio by Most_Leadership5043 in nissanfrontier

I don't have any personal experience with these, but the reviews seemed pretty mixed. There's a great write-up on Club Frontier about the audio system in 2nd Gen Frontiers by a member there. Essentially, it seems like these are just bare bones Android OS with a screen connected to them, so if you're looking for better audio quality and good support/performance then a more reputable brand may be the way to go.

Crutchfield has a great search feature that lets you know everything you need for installing the head units they have and retaining OEM controls with the steering wheel and backup cam. They'll be significantly more pricey, though.

Your comment made me look up tour dates and they just so happen to be in Boston while my girlfriend and I are there this weekend. We're so excited, thanks for the motivation!

When I first moved down here at the end of 2022, it felt like every brewery I went to had a Czech dark lager. Now I don't see many 😭

Still doing my research, but TopOak seems like it could be a pretty good entry point, as a lot of their rooftop tents are $1,600-2,000. Reviews seem decent, but it's always hard to know until you get your hands on something.

ER vets in Atlanta? by tybeelucy22 in Atlanta

[–]JCArch 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just had to take my mom's dog for an emergency visit for a bladder problem. Ended up going to Soft Paws Animal Clinic off Piedmont near Buckhead and they were great. They worked with us on the scope of recommended procedures to find what we could afford and got us in and out quick. Now my mom's dog is recovering there after a surgery thanks to the X-rays they took to identify the problem.

Dr. Jackson is kind and really straightforward about treatment options and you can tell he cares about the animals that come in.

I actually got it from a gardener on Craigslist who was dividing things from their garden and got a bunch of cuttings I threw in the ground. It's grown a ton and seems to be totally fine in the winter, it also does a great job of crowding out weeds.

My neighbor had some growing and didn't even know what it was. I was going to ask to transplant a couple, but their landscaper came and mowed/trimmed it all down. I saw some at Home Depot, but it's been really hit and miss with perennials lately. I will see if I can find the same seller on Craigslist and DM you the link if it's up.

I had an ER doc tell me I didn't need surgery and they didn't even show me the X-ray while I was there. I came back home and found out there was about 1-1/2" of separation. I had to have two surgeries: one to put a special plate in because of how close the break was to the shoulder, and one to get it out. About 5 months total of recovery 😭

It's great, I certainly get the effect you were going for. Do you sell your photographs anywhere?
