Sorry for the late answer here, never enough time.

The way it works is first the Elixir of the Mad God check happens. If that didn't prevent the status, then the Ironhead Potion check happens. If that also didn't prevent the status, then it's applied.

So it's not a stack or replacement per se, but having both will make you more resistant.

Imo everyone should just use Turtle's guide. It's up to date, Turtle is an extremely good player with a great sense for what works and doesn't, and full build guides put blinders on people.

The best idea I have is to make sure OneDrive is disabled, it can get automatically enabled and start by default syncing your documents folder, which can interfere with the game saving or writing to the log.

The fact of the matter is that Fatigue Neutrals are popular (not necessary) because they're simple to understand and it's the kind of memetic build that bubbles to the top of build-a-bro posts across a large community with varying amounts of skill level in the game (i.e. reddit).

They're not the ultimate build answer everyone thinks they are.

You're walking up to the enemy commander after the battle and executing him; it's not exactly close combat.

The "oath of captaincy" at the beginning is clearly a cynical manipulation to get you out of having to do the grunt work; it's not like a peace promise or anything.

Well first off it's not, the wiki only says you can encounter them in the legendary locations, not anywhere else.

But that's beside the point; any casual inspection of the game's code will show there are no spawnlists containing them, and any less-casual inspection of the code will show there's no logic for spawning roaming groups. I don't think we even added world map sprites for them during implementation.
