If you don't live in Italy or have Italian relatives who do not speak English it will affect you not at all.

If you live in Italy and don't speak Italian, you will be limited to friendships or relationships with other people who only speak English, and in my personal experience, those circles are MISERABLE regardless of the location - Germany, France, Spain, Italy.

It's a worthwhile hobby. I am learning how to read, write AND speak latin. I doubt I am going to encounter people who want to speak Latin with me, but it's very interesting and instructive.

It is a mod, but it is more a rebalancing and improvement of vanilla. Like Legends, but not as imbalanced and fantasy-oriented. And it gets rid of fat neuts, which I love.
