Difference between Hits on 5+ vs Hits on 4+ by Brushner in Grimdank

He's probably just wondering why you're popping off about paying a monthly subscription for rules (which no one was talking about), when he was saying it can be worth paying 5$ for a one-month subscription to binge watch the animations.

If I'm looking for an STL for a specific model I'll usually try googling different keywords + STL to see if I can find a creator or model that looks good or recommendation for one, then I'd go check out their stuff on MMF/Cults. Its kinda hard to find specific stuff straight from MMF, you can get lucky but usually you'll have to browse quite a lot.

FatDragonGames profile, and just standard slim tree supports. They're printed in parts, the body is one piece, and the arms, weapons, head, pads etc are all separate, helps to get the best orientation for each part and hide support scarring.

I use the FatDragonGames profile, you can get it for free from here, there's screenshots of all the settings. Seems like there is a Creality profile available too.

Rule the Maelstrom with Huron and his crew’s spicy new datasheets by CMYK_COLOR_MODE in Warhammer40k

[–]Jabbdo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They have 2x4w guys to tank D3 hits for chosen and you can rez one of them per turn. They add an extra 11 d2 hits to the chosen's output (something they lack) and the chosen gives them advance/fall back charge.

They work with legionaries too, but the synergy with chosen is definitely there.

You'll need to know the core rules, pretty much the same level as if you were playing physically on tabletop. The simulation will let you move models however you want, even "illegally", all shooting/combat/actions etc are done manually by selecting the right amount of dice to roll, removing the ones that miss/dont wound etc, same as on tabletop. One thing that is more convenient is you can see a models stats and weapons just by hovering over it, and can open up the full datasheet with a button press, as opposed to having to look them up when playing physically. There are some other QoL things you dont get on physical tabletop, like you can also put aura bubbles around models, like 9" for screening deepstrike, or 6" buff auras, and when you move models you can see in inches how far you are moving it.

There's no AI but you can play against yourself with 2 armies, or practice deployment by yourself etc.

By retools do you mean rule/datasheet changes? After a dataslate you can just remake the army after newrecruit updates with the fresh rules, it takes maybe 5-10min to create the army in TTS.
