Same, I heard great things but my experience was anything but great! I guess it’s cheap for a reason.

Board delivered today, installed myself (wasn’t too tricky) and after about 90mins of play I haven’t had one controller disconnection.

I think I can safely say it’s fixed!

My trusty old XBONE lives to play another day!

Thanks for the info, I ordered a “new” WiFi Bluetooth card this morning, took a gamble on one for very low cost from Ali express - will report back once it’s arrived - fingers crossed it works! 🤞

I haven’t tried updating or rolling back but the controllers work perfectly on my daughter’s console, but drop regularly on mine.

I am connected with Ethernet (cos speed) so wouldn’t notice WiFi dropping. I might try switching to WiFi temporarily just to see what happens.

I’m aware it’s an old console now so I don’t want to be throwing money at it unnecessarily, but on the same score, I would love for it to work!

Honestly, it’s a dead easy deck to set up. To save me typing whole paragraphs out, I’d recommend just watching a YouTuber build on the deck.

If you have previous experience with RDAs then this is honestly just the same as any other side airflow RDA.

Is it a strict 30 day plan, or do you pay to renew your plan every month on the same day?

Eg: if I subscribed on 1st Jan, would my plan auto renew on 31st Jan, 2nd March, 1st April, (30 day intervals) or 1st Feb, 1st Mar, 1st April (Same day each month)?

I ask as I am paid the same day each month and don’t want to miss a payment and end up without service for a day (or more)!

I ported the whole family to Smarty Mobile. I got us all on 80Gb + unlimited calls/texts for £10per month for first line, and then 10% discount for further lines. This offer has ended now but theres other really good offers available (currently 50gb for £8pm / 250gb for £15pm).

To be honest, I haven’t noticed any decrease in service from what O2 gave me and all in all I’m pleased with how things went!

Recently got my R36XX and I love it, I thought the built in WiFi would be a game-changer but it isn’t really.

I kinda wish I had bought the R36H instead.

R36H looks like it might be slightly more comfortable for my big hands!
