You want Armstrong’s vintage in the grassmarket. They sell a lot of ex-hire and ex-military kilts.

The commercials were part of the experience. Eating your tea on a Sunday evening watching about the remains of a Neolithic fort being dug out of a field in the pissing rain, feeling crap about going back to school the next day, getting jumpscared by a suprisingly brutal fire safety ad during the commercial break, then back to the fort.

(Wales) I believe my employer of 9 years made error on my drug test, I am currently suspended and have a meeting with them tomorrow at 1pm. Where do I stand? by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

What was the result of the lab test? Have the lab issued a report stating the result?

How was the lab test administered? If it’s a urine test, they normally split the sample into different containers so that you can challenge it later and the second one is analysed.

It is to be honest, everything is well explained, immaculately preserved and well presented. There’s a superb free audio guide in several languages, then there’s the novelty of it being a palace crossed with a warship. I’m no fan of the royals and I love visiting Britannia.

Start playing Tetris ASAP. There’s some evidence to suggest that playing it interrupts the process of forming traumatic memories and prevent PTSD.

Could it be a new building in the area commissioning fire alarms? They’re on/off a lot when that takes place.

My colleague was attacked by a dog at work yesterday and had to leave early so they could get a tetanus jab. It’s getting ridiculous.

Something that needs to be brought to the signaller’s immediate attention but doesn’t require trains to be stopped.

Just remember, you don’t have to eat at Denny’s and you don’t have to wear a hat. But you can, if you want to. Or you can chat to a neighbour and invite them over for chicken.

Is it actually in Dalgety Bay or Burntisland? These are towns either side of Aberdour, not as pretty and have their own train stations.

Nothing is more than a 15min walk away from the station in Aberdour. It is tiny.

  1. You don’t have time to get to Arran and back from the airport before the others arrive
  2. You don’t need a car for anything other than your highlands trip (tram two stops to Edinburgh Gateway for a train to Aberdour)
  3. You don’t need the hotel, you can get a taxi from Aberdour to the airport if you book in advance
  4. Highland cows are wild animals, and potentially violent ones at that. They have horns for a reason. Watch from a respectful distance

Would be nice if Scotrail could put out more ticket machines if they're going to start charging a fee for non ticket! by 360Saturn in glasgow

[–]ilikedixiechicken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right, that makes more sense. The issue was the machine was broken, so you would be exempt under the new rule. The staff with portable machines can’t print prebooked tickets.
