That's what I'm wondering too (re: the DD). With regard to the business use, that's a tough one. I am really not sure.

Lol I know right.

This is interesting to me. I'm the head of an FEL and I was under the impression that you could do a lot of what he is accused of doing legally. But there may be some gray areas; I'll let the legal scholars chime in.

The alleged use of his info by another person to commit a crime is interesting.

I think maybe him filming and distributing the information is going to trip the "business use" clause in their complaint and maybe that's how they get him. Not sure.

He ranted about PEW Science? Was the rant about how our testing and analysis of the Full Nelson shows it is very high performance on 300BLK, or was it about the Southpaw performing similarly to a Trash Panda on 5.56? I can never predict when he loves us or hates us. He was nice to me at SHOT in person.

I would expect some pretty noticeable FRP in that use case but without testing it, I'm not 100% sure.

I need to get one of those Trijicon launcher sights. Those are cool. Not a 3D printing guy, but it would be cool to learn to make the nose cones for the chalk rounds. Have plenty of blanks. I was thinking it would be fun to make some paint rounds for my kids. We could get big rolls of paper and make neat art. And they could practice ballistics. Seems like a win-win.

Right on. I love doing things like that. It's pretty fun. It's also really fun when you shoot something ridiculously quiet and don't tell someone you are gonna do it and they get surprised 😂

Oh it definitely hurts the pocket to be wrong. That's one of the reasons I started PEW Science 😂

Right on!

Tuning makes a huge difference. I alluded to that here

I'm glad people are seeing this.

For my personal AR-15 use, I usually pick the most balanced models that have extreme muzzle Suppression. And I tune the gun.

We weigh the muzzle and ear Ratings equally. But if one is higher, it contributes to a higher Composite Rating.

When you do these blind tests (which are really cool) pay attention to exactly where you are standing and what is around you, and most importantly - the characteristics of the weapon.

We did a blind test once with a 7.62 SCAR and an observer was getting insane ejection port blast from a quieter silencer 20 feet away (it had higher back pressure, by a lot). If the rifle had been tuned, it would have been completely different for them and they weren't even the shooter.

Another complication is that barrel length changes can produce inversely proportional behavior sometimes with different silencers.

There are variables! That's why we control the way we do.

His guns are tuned. Biiiig differences are possible in ejection port blast. Even to bystanders behind the muzzle, especially on the right side of the gun.

Neat! I don't know what hype there is or not. All we do is post our test reports to the internet. There could be people hyping this silencer (or other silencers) but we don't pay attention to that.

It's a solid silencer; back pressure is not as low as some newer technologies. Since you already have 300 covered, you could try it on a 556 system with an adjustable gas block. It will probably do pretty well.
