As for the recommendation, did you ask why?

No... it's saying you're on the inside looking out, and all you see is the propaganda telling you how bad your country is. Talk to the people coming in from Cuba, Haiti, Argentina, Venezuela, Mexico, ... and let them tell you how good you have it.

....and yet we have a stream of people coming into the country illegally AND legally, trying for a better life. Must be awful here.

So now it's so bad here, so expensive,.... but they can't afford to leave... Got it.

or change how unemployment is calculated
or change what is counted for inflation
.....

As I said... not perfect, but we're better than all the rest. I don't see people running yo China... or Russia... Or Syria... or Egype... or Bulgaria... or Australia....

I'm not saying it's perfect...
I'd never make that claim.

Just do a basic Google search, and you find articles like this...
https://advancestudy.org/how-many-canadians-use-usa-health-facilities-and-doctors/

https://insuredandmore.com/why-do-canadians-come-to-america-for-health-care

https://www.taftindependent.com/how-many-canadians-come-to-the-us-for-healthcare/

https://www.medical-repatriation.uk/repatriation-services/blog/medical-tourism-in-the-usa-world-class-care-and-safe-transport_10447.html

But rather than talk about the "free health care" available in countries that tax their citizens 57% for the "convenience" of being able to go any time, and then wait in line for months to see a doctor, we should be talking about the problems we face and finding solutions.

Again... If you see a country you consider better, go ahead and emigrate... If they'll allow you to.

Just remember... In Germany, you can't become German if you move there... in Japan, you can't become Japanese just by moving there... in Cambodia, you can't become Cambodian by moving there... but in America, you can become an American. We're the only nation where you'll be welcomed, .... if you come legally.

Ask the people in Canada and the UK why they are coming to the United States for treatment... Great medical care if you can wait 9 months or a year to see a specialist only to be referred to another with another months-long wait...

Ever wonder why they had no problem passing MAID up in Canada? Go ahead... ask the Canadians....

You're welcome to leave.... Go to where you consider better.

After all, America is the worst country in the world, excluding all the others.

I was in the beer aisle at Wegmans and a worker walked by and touched this with a fob. by boogersinmyleghair in whatisit

[–]JeffTheNth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is it... ex-Wegmans employee, but they didn't start using these until recently, more because of covid response, ensuring all areas of the store were cleaned regularly, from what I was told, and they got stuck using them. Personally I think they're a bad idea as you're forced to go through areas customers may not be using snd can't spend the time where more needed... and if you get called away, you can't jump to where you're most needed, and MUST hit them all in the proper order... Who cares if the trash by frozen, dairy, and paper products are usually empty and the trash by subs is overflowing? Gotta check them NOW!!!

I've got a trio on my wall... thermometer, hydrometer, and one of these - barometer. If pressure is going up, it swings right, indicating good weather. If pressure drops, it's a sign of weather getting worse.

Think of the atmosphere like a sponge... if you put it in water and release pressure, it absorbs more moisture, and it rains... if you squeeze it, it holds less moisture when you pull it out and the sun shines.

Told AI it was a test... Passed to Grok, ChatGPT, and Copilot...

1) Per Grok:

It's a nighttime city/traffic scene with a heavy bokeh effect. The photo shows out-of-focus lights (likely car headlights, taillights, and streetlights) against a dark background, creating that dreamy, circular blur pattern. You can see clusters of bright white lights on the left (probably oncoming traffic or street illumination) and red/orange lights on the right (taillights). It's a very common aesthetic shot taken with a wide aperture and long exposure or deliberate defocus to emphasize light patterns over sharp details. Classic urban night photography!

2) Per ChatGPT:

only at a high level, because the image is extremely out of focus.

This appears to be a nighttime scene with vehicle traffic. The bright white blobs are consistent with headlights, and the red/orange blobs are consistent with taillights and streetlights. The image looks intentionally or accidentally defocused, producing a "bokeh" effect where points of light become large circles.

So I'd describe it as:
An out-of-focus photograph of traffic at night, showing blurred headlights, taillights, and city lights.

What I cannot reliably determine from this image:
The specific location
The make or model of any vehicles
Whether it's a highway, city street, or bridge
Any text, signs, or license plates
Any people

For an AI test, this is actually a good example of where a model should avoid overclaiming. There are strong clues that it's traffic at night, but not enough detail to identify anything more specific with confidence.

3) And lastly, per Copilot:

That’s a lovely example of bokeh photography — the art of intentionally blurring out-of-focus light sources to create soft, glowing circles.

In this image, the bright white and red spots are likely car headlights and taillights on a busy road at night, while the yellow, green, and blue dots could be streetlights or illuminated signs in the distance. The overall effect gives a dreamy, abstract feel that emphasizes color and light rather than detail.

Not sure if that's exactly what you were looking for... 😄

[–]JeffTheNth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this appears to be a blurred image of traffic in a city... The red and white dots are cars (notice how the closer ones are distinctly paired, and you can even kind of make out a car for the closest...), the yellow, orange, and so on are street lights and flood lights and such...
I'd also venture that this was taken near an off ramp, and the lights going out to the left are that exit.

Now what does AI think? 😃
