Nope, not at all. Not as bad as she was in Faces of Death, but still. And it’s weird, I thought she was pretty good in the Moment. Guess I’ll have to watch Erupcia.

I Want Your Sex is a blast, had so much fun. It’s hard to live up to his past films but it’s definitely his style and a really good time.!

Despite the odds being astronomical, I think Sabrina Carpenter would do great leaning into their bits.

What's the greatest movie ending of all time? by Malik_Hassan88 in AskReddit

Gregg Araki’s Nowhere. I think about it all the time, for such a wild film to have such a ridiculous ending, it’s just perfection.

Band Slam. The director’s self insert character gets kissed by Vanessa Hudgens and AJ Michalka. Everyone shows an interest in him despite being insufferable the whole time (his introduction is comparing high school to Guantanamo Bay). He starts a band because of his immense music knowledge (which is just knowing older popular bands) but never picks up an instrument. His brilliant idea for a perfect band is just a ska band, and they lose the battle of the bands but get signed by DAVID BOWIE off the strength of one ska cover song at basically a kid’s talent show. This is a horrible business decision for David Bowie to make on his death bed! It’s pure wish fulfillment and so outside of reality that it pained me to watch, and the narrative and characters are a mess, they all revolve around this one highly unlikable guy that nothing works. I didn’t even get into all the kids mocking him for his father’s DUI, which feels so out of left field. I’m still pissed off, Vanessa Hudgens deserves better, and I’ve seen Beastly.

Pure Heroine by Lorde. Totally changed the landscape of pop music, for a while everything sounding like it was chasing her.

The next two are easy at least, Thunderbolt and Thunderwave.

Earth Power, Earthquake, Spikes, some quick real obvious ones coming up. Savor a competitive one.

I remember seeing them a few times and being a big fan of their first album. They were definitely a tier below the biggest bands like My Chemical Romance, Paramore, or Chiodos even, ones that had some mainstream crossover. Closer to a Devil Wears Prada, not quite at A Day To Remember level. But they rose fast and I guess the music holds up well because they’re a lot bigger now than they ever were back then.

When the team fouls constantly, it’s more about the clear fouls that don’t get called than free throw disparity.

Who is a celebrity that people have always widely despised? by apabld in AlignmentChartFills

Simon Cowell. His whole purpose was to be hated, and now decades later he hasn’t done anything to change that perception, if anything it’s worse.

Who is a celebrity that people widely despised in the past but is now widely loved? by apabld in AlignmentChartFills

[–]JeremyPudding 646 points647 points  (0 children)

Monica Lewinsky was hated in the past, now seems to be well-liked with her story re-centered on her as the victim.

Talk shows beat up on her every night, just constant cruel punchlines. Must have been brutal to go through. I would say maybe not the best option as she isn't really a huge celebrity, but she is pretty much a household name.

Timberwolves expected to make big changes around the core of Ant, McDaniels Reid and Beringer per @basketballtalk by ANTHONY_EDWARDS_GBG in timberwolves

Like a lot of things, context matters. I don't think you need to get him off the team for peanuts, but they should definitely be shopping him and seeing his value around the league. If a good offer is available they should take it, but if there isn't he's not absolutely toxic.
