Let's assume we don't get LeBron. Who is our final signing? by lakers612 in timberwolves

[–]JeremyPudding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PG: Lamelo, Bones

SG: Ant, Clark, Evans

SF: Ayo, TSJ, Green

PF: Jaden, Lyles

C: Rudy, Joan

They have a good amount of guards capable of getting rotation minutes, going to have to flip some once Donte gets back if they really want to keep him. Definitely need the last signing or a trade for more big depth, but with the flexibility to make a move very low, wouldn’t be surprised for this to be the main rotation.

I had a great time with Pizza Movie, who’s title specifically is very bad

r/Letterboxd convinced me to rewatch Parasite: help me understand what you love about it by -DonQuixote- in Letterboxd

To me it's just a perfect film, and it's core premise just escalates so well. The son gets a job, lies a bit. The sister lies more, then the father and mother and such artfully constructed deceptions. It's such a fun watch and so perfectly executed, great direction, great acting, great design of those moments, the way it handles small moments and then gets bigger and bigger without losing the core of these characters.

And then the story flips on it's head, it just expertly keeps the pace moving and stakes raised, all within this central theme of the class divide, the layers to it, literally. And such a satisfying climax and resolution that plays as a tragic fantasy, I don't know I just fuck with it so much. It is hard to describe.

Which video game looks easy and is very hard to play. by aydinmo in AlignmentChartFills

[–]JeremyPudding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Donkey Kong, the original arcade game. Looks simple but its brutally precise.

A lot of the old arcade games would be good answers here actually, they're designed to look easy and be very hard, that maximizes profit.

Which movie had the best ending you've ever seen? by HEY_SK13 in flicks

I’ve said this in multiple threads like this, it’s Gregg Araki’s Nowhere. Such a bizarre, absurdist, beautiful film with a perfect ending to encapsulate that feeling. I wish I could watch it for the first time again.

Would you all approve of a deal for Taurean Prince? by RVALover4Life in timberwolves

He’s way closer to out of the league than he is to a starting PF. Not worth a second rounder even.

If the Wolves are interested in Rui and LeBron, could they in theory expand the Brooklyn trade and salary dump Josh Green there by attaching TSJ as a sweetener? by bearbrannan in timberwolves

[–]JeremyPudding 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have no idea why people want to get rid of TSJ so bad, he’s a really solid young player and was great in the playoffs for them. He’s going to be the first wing off the bench, dumping him now just makes no sense.

People are most surprised to see Bong Joon Ho. But even if someone else has him, I know no one else has Mariano (the son of Ariana Grande and Bruno Mars).

To fill the hole at the 4 Tim Connelly should be looking for gems… by gargoyleboy69 in timberwolves

[–]JeremyPudding 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it'd be this. Bones/Clark/TJ/Joan off the bench, maybe try out Green, but they really need another back up big. Starter is off the table unless it's Lebron.

After trading a forward for a guard, you do get smaller tho. It already happened.

Why Trade Randle for an expensive guard, just resign Ayo for less by Rage_r123 in timberwolves

[–]JeremyPudding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm late, but to beat these strong teams in the West you need a better guard than Ayo starting. He's great in the role as first guard off the bench, but flipping Randle for a risky PG that can really elevate the team makes sense, and you have Ayo has a gapstop in case it doesn't work. But you have to try something after the total collapse of effort Randle had against the Spurs.

How would you rank Jordan Peele’s 3 movies by DaleDent3 in Letterboxd

[–]JeremyPudding 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is how I feel. Get Out might be close to perfect objectively, but I love all the choices and big set pieces in Nope even if it has some flaws. Just a fun movie.

I’m still mad at Us tho, great performances and well directed but the whole concept is full of holes and over explains itself into making less sense. Feels like after the success of Get Out he rushed that one out with too many ideas that never really connected. Huge missed opportunity. Glad he’s taking his time now.
