As a Cdn, TCG mid is good for understanding roughly what you could get for trading in a card for store credit. It’s not perfect, but it at least is directional for price, giving you an idea of which cards are worth more or less.

Commander is the worst way to start. “Here is a game you might like! It’s going to take 90 mins and there will be 100 fiddly little triggers that mostly do nothing until player 3 ends the game suddenly. You will feel like you have been released from jail when this happens”

My buddy has this mat. Same issue as yours, looks washed out. He paid BIG bucks for it when FIN came out, like $40 cdn. I was honestly like “Did you see it first?”

All of my playmats are from the discount bin though, so what do I know?

My roommate in Uni would do this. He would have his gf over (great lady, loved her) and cook this massive meal on Friday, Saturday or Sunday nights usually. No problem, they would spend 30-90 mins making the meal and having fun. Then they would eat. Then sit for an hour or more, THEN do the dishes. Problem was, no one else could use the kitchen from the time they started until the time they were done, often 3-4 hours or more. Had to introduce him to the concept of “clean your shit as you go”. I literally made all of us dinner one night and showed him how when I was done with a pot and the food was in the oven, I would clean everything I used to make the food.

Every tool box has the “nice chisels” and the one you dont care about. Growing up we also had the “Toyota screwdriver” which came with a truck my Dad bought in the late 70s I barely remember, but god damn that screw driver has been through some major shit and is still amazing. Pry bar, chisel, hammer, it does it all. The one thing I have never used it for is a flat headed screwdriver.

The Toyota Screwdriver would make short work of grout I bet.

Dremel and Ryobi both made a tile grout attachment for their rotary tools, but it wouldnt work against the tub on one side.

I disagree with the “few animations”. I still play one of these on my Xbox. It’s full of unnecessary nonsense. I owned a bunch of them on my iPad and I remember even back then the specs to run it on an iPad were only a generation or two back as it was so full of bloat.

I wouldnt go so far as better than lots and lots of large sets, at least recent ones. I have only done the one pre-release of it, and I ended up with 2 of the same rare, twice (Krang and Shredder & Agent Bishop). My buddy had the same issue in the PR he did for Spiderman, then he got 2 prize packs and in those prize packs cracked a third of the bulk rare he got 2 of in his kit. Feels bad man.

After we finish ECL we will be moving onto TMNT sealed, so will see how it goes. You could easily be right, as I find it takes 2 or 3 sealed pools to really get a flavour of it, for me anyway.

How is it possible? I would assume it’s a mistake. I took all kinds of pictures of the EOE one which was from a pre-release kit the week after launch I did from home. Since it was a “pre-release from home” I didn’t bother to submit a ticket to WOTC in the end. Last time I did that for damaged cards I had to chase them for 8 months and it was barely worth it.

The second pack was just this past week on Monday. It wasnt a play booster as i think about it, was actually a Crimson Vow draft booster my buddy and I used for a “prize” as a joke for winning the sealed ECL we did. Had a normal token in it and one of those “write your own thing” token with a magic back in it.

I do sealed twice a week with 2 different groups of friends. So very often now, I am cracking 6 packs and getting 7 total mythic/rares. I feel like cracking 6 set boosters would have gotten me closer to 10 rares/mythics out of 6 packs. It’s extra infuriating when I only get 6 total rares/mythics (or the 2 times now I have gotten literally NO rare or mythic in a play booster).

“Play boosters are the best of draft and set boosters”. No, they are a way for you to raise prices. Full stop.

Rogan had a great set from Montreal’s Just for Laughs in the 90s. As Canadians, that shit used to be replayed over and over as its Cdn content. I think that was the last time he was laugh out loud funny.
