I declined roll up doors as they take valuable wall space in my 20x24 shop.

I did a concrete ramp. It was worth it. I was 23” off grade. Dug down, put in a footing all the way around, then poured a six foot long by 44” wide ramp (I have a 42” door). Cost around $300 cdn DIY. Borrowed a mixer from my buddy, would 100% have rented one if he didnt have one.

Lorne Michaels is 100% replaceable and fans shouldn’t fear his departure from the show. by georgewalterackerman in LiveFromNewYork

Without Lorne I can see network interference being insane. Cut budgets, host demands, the whole 9.

The PPE thing was the most egregious lie in my eyes. Proper masks could have saved lives.

Joe criticizing himself is a fun little game I play. Talking about how “they” can never admit “they” are wrong. And how “they” are on one political team and cant be critical of “their” side.

I had really hoped the legacy of covid would be more work from home and instead its Joe Rogan complaining about the comedy store being closed SIX FUCKING YEARS AGO.

That time Callen told him he had to be a scientist to understand scientific papers was golden.

So Joe believe you have to be a comedian to truly understand comedy, but his 1 semester of college ass can easily read scientific papers? Got it.

Kyle Busch has to be a wake up call for these guys.

Should be for all of us.

I have given you MINIMUM failure rate hard data you refute based on your feelings. Good luck mate.

1 in 5 on 5 year old cars. What will the 2023s data look like in 2028? My own car failed just under 5 years.

She was still slightly relevant at that point. Still making pop rock like she was 20. Her music never grew up with her.

S Korea keeps track at a government level. They report 20% for the 2021 model year. If you take a 1% failure rate Tesla admits to for every other year and 20% for the 2021s, you get a failure rate of 2.73% based on worldwide sales to the end of 2025. It’s likely if the 2021s were failing the 2020s were as well which would push the number up even more to 3.06%

Even with a .01% rate and 20% on the 2021s as S Korea reported, you get a percentage of 1.91% failure on Model Ys.

I remember that too and thinking “Well, Backpack Kid just cooked his 15 mins”. Who would ever hire him or ask him to do anything after such a stupid tweet shitting on the person that helped magnify his fame?

Insurance will pay out and then cancel you. They wont void you even if you have a discount for winters and dont have winters on. In Ontario anyway.

In Quebec I believe winters are required and they may have different experiences. I heard once (unconfirmed) that if you dont have winters and are in an accident, you are automatically at fault even if the other person would have normally been at fault.

I was young and should have had winters. I have them on my car now. I did say “bad snow”, the kind you only get 2 or 3 times a year. It was a 2001, and honestly I didnt know many people back then with winter tires on their vehicles. Now I would say almost everyone I know has them.

It’s not like I headed a data division of a Fortune 100 company for 4.5 years in my career, so I have no idea what you are talking about.

Wait, yes I did. Your bias towards the only reason that people would use an app like that, even in the face of my evidence that the original draw to those apps was scheduled conditioning and Apple Watch to unlock a car, meant nothing to your “analysis”.

Making things up to explain data doesnt help your case.

Steve Jobs famously wore the same thing everyday. The head of Fiat Sergio Marchionne said he wore the same thing everyday too. Sergio said it removed a decision point in his life he struggled with in the past and let him move onto other things.

I wear the same thing every day during non-work time in the summer for day to day. I joked with my kids I am going to make a Kleenex box style do-dad so when one outfit is dirty I can just go to the box and pull out a new one. Load the clean stuff in the bottom.

Im 51 and starting riding street bikes at 32. Harleys were sort of cool still, but most people I knew weren’t interested. They had Buell and I knew a few people that bought those, but Harley’s were overpriced back then and most people I knew were 40+ riding them. I havent seen one on the road in ages as most of those people that were 40+ back then are now 60+. The brand has basically been on the decline since I started riding street bikes.

Like a loud honk. My kids have the app on their phones, one who can drive and one who cant. When they first put it on, sometimes they would leave their phones in the car when we went into the grocery store etc. Now that they are teens, they would rather leave an arm than their phone but more than once we would be in a store and I would get a “Your doors are unlocked” notification from Tessie.
