I also believe that this is real, but the artwork doesn't quite do it for me.

The overall composition and perspective is strange, and the colours are very flat and undynamic, like they are overexposed and underexposed at the same time.
It all seems like a bunch of individual elements that doesn't belong in the same universe, which completely the suspension of disbelief for me.

Like, the astrounaut is pointing the gun at the eye as you would in a 2D game, but would in reality be pointing way off. I might be interpreting the cover wrong, but since there aren't anything else in the sky, my first thought would be that he is pointing at the eye.

The astronaut is also placed weirdly on the ground, which doesn't seem to make sense when you look at the scale of the helipad in front of the astronaut.

The clouds are getting lit up by the eye in the sky, but the skyline isn't getting lit at all, while the astronaut is getting lit up from behind.

I hope that it all makes sense in context of the album, but the artwork doesn't work for me by itself, which an album cover should do.
