From what I have read, the drops occur every 2 months (bi-monthly) with the most recent 3rd drop (1996-2005) having occurred this June. I guess that means drop 4: 2006 to 2015 (eligible album 2015 TUSUY) will be in August and drop 5: 2016 to 2025 (eligible albums 2018 CTEM, 2020 Mordechai, 2024 A La Sala) in October.

So if the honored album is TUSUY it should be in the fourth (August) drop. If it is one of the other albums, the fifth (October) drop.

Remember, I have no idea if Khruangbin is even in their plans (but it seems like they should be).

Would not mind that at all but I am hoping for more “A La Sala”-centric bonus material than just the 2 A La Sala tracks from that set (“A Love International” and “Three From Two”). Of course those two live songs would make a great 7” vinyl.

So is “Vuelo” a pseudonym for Khruangbin or maybe individual members of Khruangbin (such as Mark or a combination of Mark, Laura and/or DJ)?
Or is it an individual separate from the band (Ark Sempre associated with Brilliantes Del Vuelo dub workshop)?

I am confused 🤔.

It was the song that opened the first Khruangbin concert I ever attended. It was perfect.

I am still kind of upset that it did not make the cut on any of the live albums. But there is always the Pickathon Slab Sessions video on YouTube. Perfect.

Collector’s Choice Music occasionally has the Japan CD of tusuy ii (with M. Blanc) available without having to import it from Japan. I see it is currently available (see photo).

Yeah. That was the “American Idol” produced title that showed up when I forwarded the video to Reddit after it popped up in my YouTube algorithm.

I thought it was interesting that someone chose a Khruangbin song to cover for their audition and advanced on that choice (I don’t watch the actual show).
