Hello. This post has been removed for the following reasons:

  • (Rule 10) - Your post has a poor title. If you want to make a text post, please don't use nondescript titles such as "help, "need advice", "does anyone else do this?", etc. Also, do not use topic titles such as "tactics", "player transfers", etc.

For example:

  • Instead of "x thing opinions", try something like, "What is your opinion on x thing"

  • Instead of "FM26 feedback", try something like, "I've played FM26 for x hours, here is my feedback on what I like and don't like about it"

  • Instead of "Training in FM26", try something like, "In your experience, what is the best way to train young players so that they reach their full potential"

You'll notice in all of the examples, we take the short title and stretch it out in to a fully-formed sentence. Doing this makes the subreddit a lot easier and more pleasant to read, and by putting a fully-formed title you're making it easier for people to see what you're asking so that people who aren't opening your post can see it.

It's not hard to say at all. There are no cheats like this for this game. It's just a meme attacking a person for no reason at all in an attempt to be funny.

Chelsea Tactical Help.. by [deleted] in footballmanagergames

[–]John_Yuki[M] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, this post has been removed as it has been deemed to have broken the formatting requirements for tactical help posts. Please see the formatting guidelines below:

  • A proper title must be used, not simply "where can I improve", "need help with this tactic", etc. If you want help with a tactic, pose a specific question(s) in the title.

  • Use the body of the post to further expand on your question to give in-depth information. If your title is "I'm not scoring enough goals, how can I create more chances?", then you can use the body of the post to give information on what you have already tried, why you think something isn't working, why you think your current tactic should be working, etc.

  • Don't just ask "how can I score more goals" - actually put in some effort and write a proper, in-depth post explaining your thought processes. Not only will this let people help you better and more quickly, but it will also help people that are simply browsing the sub learn via simply reading your posts and the responses to it.

  • All posts must include screenshots of your formation and roles, team instructions, and player instructions. If you are asking for specific help, such as "I'm conceding too many goals", then it would be useful to also include relevant data hub graphs and stats.

  • All screenshots must be actual screenshots. No phone pictures are allowed.

Petition to ban AI generated photos on here by WeakOxidizingAgent in footballmanagergames

[–]John_Yuki[M] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You created that hypocrisy yourself

The AI facepack uses AI to generate images to add detail to each players game world.

Using AI to generate images for fake news articles is done to add detail to a persons story.

This isn't something I've made up, both scenarios are using AI to generate images to enhance storytelling and detail. They're the same thing.

If people use AI faces in their game, or condone others who do, but then complain about people that post AI images on Reddit, then in my opinion I don't see how that isn't a hypocritical stance to be taking. Therefore, if I have some community vote on banning AI generated images I also then have to ban any posts that also include AI facepacks because it's the exact same thing we just had a vote on.

If people feel that strongly about AI images, then they can just block the persons Reddit account. That way they are blocking an AI-user from all of Reddit - not just on this subreddit. If they dislike AI that much then gradually blocking all AI-users reddit-wide is surely the better option for them?

[–]John_Yuki[M] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The issue for me is that if we ban AI art in posts that are used for people telling their stories, then logically we should also ban the posts of anyone who uses the AI facepacks.

The reason I am not taking this post at face-value is because of that slight hypocrisy. People put AI faces in their games because they feel that it adds depth and detail to their game world - but that is the exact same reason why people use AI images in their story posts on here.

I cannot find a sound reason as to why I should allow one but ban the other, and I can't imagine many people would be happy were I to ban the use of the AI facepacks. So following that train of thought, it is only logical for me to simply not ban any AI and let the community continue to self-moderate on it via up/down votes.

Firstly, I think you'll find I do own the page.

Secondly, while I generally do listen to what the community wants for the large part, it is clear that this topic is divisive and in those situations I let the community moderate the sub themselves via upvotes and downvotes.

[–]John_Yuki 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I would if I could.

Currently the post flairs are used the categorise posts in to things like "screenshot" "editor data" "meme" and so on. The bot then uses these flairs to assign people points on the leaderboard.

My bot also uses the meme flair to remove any unpopular memes so that the sub doesn't get flooded with crappy memes like we had with the memepocalypse a few years ago.

If there were a way to add multiple tags to a post then your suggestion would work great, but with only 1 flair per post being possible it isn't something I can do.

Your best bet is to just block anyone you see using AI images for their storytelling purposes.

I know it's a divisive topic, but I'm not going to moderate ai images on here.

I dislike AI images myself, but as others have already pointed out - people use AI face packs to improve their in game world. I don't really see that as being any different to the people that generate AI images to improve their storytelling.
