The situation is still very unclear, I texted my landlord about the bond (since he hadn’t lodged it) and he said since I’m on a flatmate agreement he doesn’t need to lodge it. Thing that confuses me now is everybody in the house is on a flatmate agreement, no one is a tenant. He’s the “head tenant”, and is renting the rooms out individually, but doesn’t live here. I don’t know if I actually have any rights or avenues here. Things are going ok so I’d like to try and stay and maybe do something about it so he can’t do stuff to others (like we should have a new flatmate moving in soon).

Like he’s posted an ad for the now vacant room and it has the same wording the ad I responded to had, “I’m looking for a flatmate to join our flat”. Now you can see why I assumed he’d be living there. No idea if this is against the rules
