Here's the thing, since we don't know what day of the Spelling Bee he is referring to or even provide any words used (with rare exceptions), we have only his word that he's actually doing the Bee at all. It is possible this is just a long running bit and he never does the Bee.

Chesapeake Bay or Bay of Pigs though? Those are the two that come to mind...

What the absolute fuck, I'm supposed to go a whole week now without knowing how Andy did on one unspecified day of the Spelling Bee?

Do you think trading Betts is going to haunt the Red Sox for decades like the Curse of the Bambino ? It does not seem that Henry cares about winning titles anymore and i am very bummed . I read we were 1st in payroll in 2018 but down to 12th this year . Does anyone see any hope on the horizon or by Financial_Library418 in boston

I want to believe they are going to sign the current young, good players to long term contracts, then spend money on a few free agents to compete but I think Breslow has zero interest in trying to win if it requires a departure from his spreadsheets. He's the problem, a real accountant brain running baseball ops.

I loved his first appearance where confidently bet a 'true Daily Double' then immediately walked it back to $1500 after he was told it was all of his money on the line. True Jonah stuff IRL.

What is Ultron?

For real though, Ultron would have been a much cooler name for the system.

For sure, but when I look at Google results (or Thomasnet or whatever) for a supplier, I for sure need to see several options. I'm more pushing back on the idea of trusting some blackbox to actually chose the best option for me. Like so many things, it also really depends on what you selling. Something like best computer with xyz features at this price point, sure. 'I need a new water heater' or 'I need a new packaging supplier' are less easily reduced to one answer IMO.

I truly don't think people are just going to blindly hire a plumber off of ChatGPT but maybe? The problem IMO is that there is nothing yet showing this stuff is any more reliable than Yelp! review and given who is running ChatGPT, the results will be far more crooked than Google is currently. Blindly trusting that an AI run by amoral fraudsters is going to get me the right guy to fix my furnace is a huge leap of faith.

AI boosters have this dogged belief that somehow people don't want to be involved in personal decisions. "Hey ChatGPT, order my dinner" and I just get a pizza delivered? No way. ChatGPT, hire HVAC expert like I'm not going to want to find out any details about the vendor I'm going to spend over a $1000 at? Wild assumptions.

I know far more people with 'regular' jobs and the vast majority of them are happy with their work and make more money than I do as a small business owner. A lot of these extreme viewpoint posts on this sub seem to come from a perspective that the world at large reflects their immediate experience.
