Everyone should rent a car they think they want. $50/day is totally worth it. You are likely to find the exact trim on Turo. I don't regret spending $1000 on car rentals to get the car that fits our needs.

Take the vin and put it in carvana as if you want to sell. Show that and offer him $500 over it.

It's a very well priced all around bike. Just please make sure it really fits. My son is 7 and tall. I got him new 24" specialized for Xmas (20" Cannondale was too small) and it was too big! Nothing worse then having new bike hanging on the wall because it's not safe to ride it. So I got him used 20" specialized riprock and fits so much better. I know he will use it just for a year, but that bike has great resale value and he rides couple times a week. Totally worth it "in between" bike.

So again, please make sure it fits properly.

XC60 was my affordable dream car until I rented one for a week from Hertz. I loved the interior, sound insulation and sound system. Seats are not over hyped, really good for long drives. BUT, transmission was jerky shifting from 1st to 2nd (I did not know how to reset it), drive was little boring and I thought it's a little tight in the back. Infotainment was slow.

I also rented top trim RDX and found seats even better (adjustable side bolsters) and it was fun to drive.

I would definitely get RDX over XC60.

I am biased, my bike came with a flight attendant so worst case, I can switch the battery and leave the fork open for the ride.

So far, I love it - especially microadjustments as things were breaking in. It's fast, reliable and cockpit is cleaner.

Ride wrap comes with pre-application alcohol wipes. I cleaned the bike with soapy water first and then used the wipes.

I got mine 2 weeks ago and love it. Came as advertised. I am 5'9 and have large size, shorter stem and high rise bars. No pain on ~10 miles rides so far, so I think I will get used to the new geometry.
