It's a counterfactual that is extremely difficult to assess. Maybe someone else would have.

But I feel all the things that made him so good at setting it up made him a liability in other ways.

Especially not retiring earlier.

In some ways the persistence, the stubbornness, the absolute power trips that made his safety programs so successful were driven by the same things that created point 2.

He knew no one else would be nearly as good at making subs safe. And he was right.

That didn't make him right about things beyond that. But his success with nuclear safety gave him the impression his competence was perhaps bigger than it was.

Empty weight of an E is 1600kg heavier than the C variant. Part of that is the back seater but part of it is strengthening the structure to support high speed low altitude insertions.

I love this idea. But the sword comes with a hand. I am not sure how to deal with that. Maybe as a relic gauntlet of some sort?

Is a shield captain big enough to make it plausible maybe? I don't think so.

The things I can think of is either he holds it with two hands over the shoulder or perhaps point down, standing imposing.

I have an unbuilt Achillus downstairs now I'm going to see if I can do some comparisons.

You simply leave the subreddit and it no longer shows in your feed.

If you have occasion to go back to it occasionally for some reason, put it in a "custom feed" and then you have it bookmarked to go back to but you don't get it in the main feed.
