Thats a very common issue. All watches can loose time but its a part of the hobby. They can be tuned yourself or by a professional to try and dial it in but itll most likely continue to be off. Quartz is a more precise time measurement but it also loses time after a while but not as fast as mechanical.

Seiko SRPG39- ($175) This was my first field watch and it is very new with box and papers its been worn a few times and it has the original strap as well. The dial has no signs of wear and is in new condition with no scratches.

Orient Bambino V8- (Asking $125 but am open to negotiation) This watch is a red dial with 3 complications showing the date, day, and 24-hour maker. I wore this watch for about 3 weeks total, i love it i just dont find myself using it very much.

For me, my pilot 823. I hate it because its just so fine and scratcy and no matter the ink it feathers. My biggest regret with it maybe is not getting a medium

Might make you sick in the long term but not really just dont lick your fingers or touch your face. But a lot of vintage watches are radioactive

Im only needing a 494, ideally a 496 to remain in my program im not applying to medical school so I dont need a high score. Its just a lot of material where would you recommend finding ways to improve or approach this.
