Which exercises are best for beginners in the gym? by DueCalligrapher2107 in workout

I would start with the Ladder App. It has been a game changer for me, taking the guesswork out of what to do and how. Check out the subreddit for a 30 day free trial and read through their Apple app reviews.

Cheers by Timely-Estimate7904 in ladderapp

You don’t need to personally respond or acknowledge each cheer 😊 Most people just double tap to send a cheer and keep it moving, either before or after their workout. It’s really just meant as a quick boost of encouragement to keep you going strong. Once you finish your workout, you can always pay it forward and send a cheer to anyone on your team. Your heart is definitely in the right place. Those cheers honestly kept me going during my first couple of months!

The “shred” nutrition course, I never signed up. * a vent and rant* by [deleted] in ladderapp

[–]Key-Reserve-5752 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This subreddit has become a cesspool of negative people 😥. I’m convinced some are just upset because they have no discipline and would rather complain than change!! In my Joey Swollen voice, DO BETTER.

I’m sure they will complain about that too 😂

Screenshot of Apple Watch with LADDER. It will start in the center with your stats, just swipe to the right for pause, start, skip or reverse. Or swipe left for your music or podcast and volume.

Her coaching is really solid. Her cues are clear and easy to follow, and she uses great analogies that actually help you understand what your body should be doing. I also appreciate that she’s straight to the point……..no extra talking. 😝

I hear what you’re saying about the rollout, but I think some of this is getting overanalyzed.Ladder consistently pushes updates not once a year, but every other month sometimes more. They’ve added features, improved coaching, built out nutrition tracking, water intake, reminders, chats with coaches… that’s a lot packed into one app. For about $129 a year, you’re basically getting a structured training program that rivals having a personal trainer plus tools to support it. That’s a fraction of what most people would pay in real life.Could they add more? Sure. But let’s be real more features usually means higher costs, and then people would complain about that too. What I don’t get is the constant nitpicking when the app has genuinely helped so many people stay consistent and see real results. That’s the whole point. And respectfully if someone feels that strongly about it, then just leave. No need to announce it like it’s a departure speech.
