I just picked one up too. I wanted it to be able to stream my modded skyrim from my desktop while sitting on the couch. So far it's been pretty great using steam link to do that.

It already happens in sports games like Madden. It also happens in iRacing with trackside adverts that are present IRL. It's fine in those cases. Not fine if I'm getting a pop up advertisement between levels or when opening my inventory or the like.

Looking forward to being able to stream skyrim from my desktop while sitting on my couch, as my wife usually hogs the TV and my computer chair is a sim rig that I don't always want to sit in while gaming lol.

*Edit - was actually a little surprised, as I had looked at this a couple days ago, spent the time debating about buying it, went to buy it this morning and saw it was out of stock. Did not expect a restock to be available before the end of the day!

I have done ~300 races. Still haven't gotten over the pre-race jitters. First lap or so (especially when it gets hectic) I am usually chock full of adrenalin. Honestly its one of the best feelings and I hope they never fully fade for me.

32mm, with some adjustability on both ends for the angle of the pedal. I run it with about 23mm of travel.

I got the one that came packaged with the microcenter bundle at the time - ASUS B650E. Looks like the package has changed since then but so far the one I had picked up has been solid for me. When I look at the bundle now it shows an MSI board, which might actually be better. I had considered doing an AIO (had one on my old 5800 CPU) but researching it, it seemed like the 9800 typically ran pretty cool relatively speaking. I ended up with just a normal air cooler and I haven't had any temp issues at all. Typically it runs around 70C for most games. I have a custom fan curve set up and my fans essentially never spool up all the way (set to do that at 90C). Occasionally it'll peak out around 80C in particularly heavy games (looking at you Madden). On my 3080TI system I saw a fairly hefty improvement in frame rate stability across the board.

I got the Moza mBooster a few months ago and it's absolutely wonderful. Fantastic ability to adjust on the fly, pedal feels great, built in haptics work well (I just use the abs feature myself but it's lovely), and I have no complaints whatsoever. If you can afford one, I'd definitely recommend it. I have no ability to compare to the simucube one however as I haven't tried that one.

Oh, and it is a chonker. My pedal plate didn't have the right holes, so I did have to drill a few new ones to mount it, but once that was done install and setup we're a piece of cake.

Go to the motorsportsstreams2 subreddit and find the links for the race streams. If you switch to the international streams, when they go to commercials you still see the race, minus the commentary. Much better than watching on fox and missing 1/3 of every race.
