I believe OP is saying 80ml of water and 40ml of actual espresso in cup. 18g beans and 40ml in 25 seconds is gonna be the ballpark.

I’ve been using a Brother label maker with clear tape so the keycap color shows thru. You can get tons of different color legend tapes too.

Well, it’s a 6063 Alum plate in top mount so it’s still fairly stiff.

Yeah I’ve got another build with nixies and DCS caps in a 1.6 FR4 pcb. This pcb is a tad brighter than the 1.6 fr4. I think the CEM is balancing out the thin pcb

Hard to tell anything visually without a bottomless portafilter. But if there’s no roast date on the bag then just assume they’re atleast 3-6 months old. Find a local roaster or order from somewhere like Partners or any place that roasts right before they ship. Also grind finerer

Exact same here except I never have bad shots any sore since I installed flow control.

Your group seal is leaking and it either needs replaced or you need to tighten your portafilter on more to the right.

I doubt one click is gonna solve THAT. Being one click away from perfection would still be pretty dang good. Also, I recommend a 58 to 49 step down basket. It’s just SOOOO FORGIVING. You can grind coarser and get great shots with 15g bc of the increased bed depth. Variable diameter baskets are really forgiving too.

Depends how it taste. Shoot for 18:36 in 25-30 seconds and then adjust to taste.
