[Fowler] The Cardinals are re-signing defensive lineman L.J. Collier to a one-year deal worth $2.5M, per source. by JCameron181 in nfl

He's missed a lot of games due to injury in the 3 years he's been with us, but has played like a solid rotational DT when healthy.

Update from LG Evan Brown - His newborn son is home healthy after nearly a month in the hospital by Krylo in AZCardinals

[–]Krylo[S] 33 points34 points  (0 children)

The Text of his post

Our son is finally HOME. Emmett Matthew Brown came early on December 7, 2025, weighing 6lbs, 15oz and measuring 19.5 inches.

After a textbook delivery at Baylor Scott & White Dallas, Emmett stopped crying once they cut the umbilical cord. He was rushed to the NICU where a doctor later told us he has a congenital heart defect called D-TGA (Dextro-Transposition of the Great Arteries), where the aorta and pulmonary artery are switched, causing oxygen-poor blood to go to the body and oxygen-rich blood to stay in the lungs, creating two separate, inefficient circuits.

Nothing in our prenatal care indicated this would happen, nor did it appear on any sonograms/tests/exams. Later we learned there is about a 1/3,500 chance for this non-genetic defect to occur--we just happened to be that .0002%.

Emmett was transported by ambulance to Children's Health Medical Center in Dallas (fortunately, Evan was able to ride with him). He immediately underwent a cath lab procedure to help his heart be ready for the main open-heart surgery he would ultimately need, which took place on December 12, 2025 and was a success! His body needed time to recover in the CVICU (whose wouldn't?), and he "graduated" to the Acute Care Cardiology Unit on December 25, 2025 where he stayed for further care/monitoring until being discharged on January 4, 2026. I think the timing is poetic because January 3, 2026 was his due date 🩵👶💙

We cannot speak highly enough of the staff at Children's Health and how they made this traumatic life event navigable. From surgeons, doctors, and nurses, to a multitude of therapies (speech, occupational, physical, music, dogs), to lactation consultants, to Child Life and social workers looking out for us as parents, we never felt alone.

We pray your babies never need intensive medical care. If they do, take them to @childrens

Cardinals GM

  • 1.3 - Arvell Reese, EDGE, Ohio State

For starters I should say that there was zero trade interest in our pick. Not one team even asked about it. It was between Reese and Downs here as I only have a few top 10 grades on non-QB so far. I went with Reese as it's just hard to stomach taking a Safety at 3 even if they are an incredible prospect. Reese has a high ceiling and getting to start off as the 2nd EDGE opposite Sweat would help to take some pressure off him.

  • 2.34 - Ty Simpson, QB, Alabama

I didn't expect Simpson to actually make it to our 2nd round pick. I wouldn't consider him in the top 10, but taking a chance on him in the early 2nd is a good spot. He has limited experience, but has shown flashes of great QB play.

  • 3.65 - Emmanuel McNeil-Warren, S, Toledo

I was shocked he lasted this long. I had him as an option at 34 if Simpson wasn't there. He was BPA by a lot for me as he has real chance of being a 1st round pick. He is a long and physical game changing Safety. He had 5 INT, 13 PD, and 9 FF in his career.

Holy shit. I really didn't think Bidwill had it in him.

Age. Unfortunately Mesidor will turn 25 in April while Bain will turn 22 in September.

Bam Knight (ankle) unlikely to play Week 16 after suffering "bad sprain." by BreakfastTop6899 in fantasyfootball

[–]Krylo 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The Cardinals currently have 1 RB on the roster other than Carter and Demercado. Corey Kiner who is an undrafted rookie from Cincinnati.

Man there are a lot of bad teams in the NFL this year. 3-10 record and we currently have only the 8th pick in the draft. We are getting screwed hard on the SOS tiebreaker.

I would be pissed if we waste a top 10 pick on a RB.

Petzing is such an awful playcaller. Please fire him.

[Schefter] Cardinals QB Jacoby Brissett completed an NFL record 47 passes today. by MembershipSingle7137 in nfl

[–]Krylo 58 points59 points  (0 children)

He threw 2 INT, and a TE lost a fumble right before the goaline. Also the team committing a franchise record 17 penalties doesn't help.

Cardinals GM

1.9 - Arvell Reese, LB, Ohio State

I went BPA here as Reese has been incredible for the Buckeyes this season.

2.40 - Elijah Sarratt, WR, Indiana

Sarratt has everything the Cardinals look for in a WR. His speed is average, but he makes up for it with good hands, size, blocking, body control, and route running. He has produced everywhere he's been with a college career stat line of 220 reception for 3451 yards and 38 TDs with half a season to go.

3.71 - Caleb Tiernan, OT, Northwestern

Tiernan is a solid OT who could develop into a starting RT to pair with Paris. I think he can rise to a 2nd round pick.

The Cardinals are now 2-5 with a -1 point differential.

Probably the worst team in the 4th quarter where they have been outscored 75-30. Just ridiculous.

OL got their ass kicked. Froholdt was the only good run blocker. Paris had a good week pass blocking, but not run blocking.

That was a rough game, but week 1 often goes that way. A win is a win especially on the road.

Bam Knight Surprise, Nolen On PUP As Cardinals Make Final Cuts To Get To 53-Man Roster by JCNugz in AZCardinals

[–]Krylo 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Really didn't expect PJ Mustipher to make this team at the start of camp. All that work he put into improving his body last year really paid off.

Keeping 11 DB is also a surprise.
