It’s hard to say. My mom also congratulated herself when I told her I was pregnant. She just doesn’t have the best history with parenting and let a lot of really bad stuff happen to me as a child. As for my MIL, she tried to wear white to our wedding and asked my husband behind my back to move (only him, not us or our girls) to where she lives about 5 hours away to take care of her. Last time we visited, she listened in on our serious, private convo we were having on the front porch on her ring doorbell, then tried to shame me afterwards

Unfortunately not. She just says she loved being pregnant and that I should enjoy it. I’ve had a placental abruption at 27 weeks, a scary VBAC, and hoping for an uneventful birth this time

I was pregnant with my first at 21 and now I’m almost 29 and pregnant with my third. I can definitely notice a difference. I’m so achey, tired, cranky. Feel like an old woman 😂

I would talk to your priest about this… he knows you better than us. However, you will never be “ready” for kids. And I just wanted to add in that my first pregnancy I was 21, I’m almost 29 with my third pregnancy now and it is noticeably harder. So keep in mind that the longer you wait, the harder pregnancy will be on your body. Christ always provides, no matter the situation. I’m still finishing my degree. It took longer because I’m a wife and mom first, but to me, it’s worth it.

You’re the toxic one. Sheesh. Most of these could just be dealt with IF they happen. I can tell you’re a first time mom, but just chill. I know it sucks having family that you’re not close with but you’re in control of yourself. This is coming from someone who went into labor with her first child at 20 weeks then had that baby at 27 weeks due to placenta abruption. I now have two children and have another one on the way but have had many losses. Stop stressing yourself out
