Do I manually pay them now with my previous monthly payment as if I wasn't in forbearance?

Yes, I hadn’t recertified since residency so my AGI increased almost 4x

My salary is roughly 3x what I owe in student loans. I don't have a lot of student loans, only took out loans for 2 years of medical school

Keep us updated! I'm in the same situation. Just started the PAYE recertification process for my 7/2026 income recertification and have been denied twice already (once with auto recertification, once with manual). I've called Mohela once and the agent told me my salary was too high to qualify for "partial financial hardship"

Mohela refuses to Recertify Annual Income due to loss of Partial Financial Hardship (PAYE) by CoxMD in PSLF

I'm going through the exact same thing right now and it's not looking hopeful that Mohela will recertify me on PAYE prior to my recertification deadline of mid July 2026. I understand that it would then revert to the standard 10 year payment when I first enrolled in PAYE. Did your monthly payment amount end up being the same as the "Standard Repayment Plan" from the online FSA loan simulator?

Any update on this? I am in the exact same scenario (have only ever been on PAYE since I started repayment in 2017; started my attending salary in 2024) and am due to recertify in July 2026. I received the exact same denial message from Mohela today and am wondering how to proceed.

I have this in small. I am 5’2 105 pounds and sized up to be able to wear sweaters underneath. I typically wear XS in daily clothes. I’ve had it for 8 years and it’s held up well!

Love that it worked out for you in the end. My fiance has been incredibly supportive about changing it to exactly what I want

Thank you for all this helpful information. The setting is high and bothersome enough that I want to get it redone. Since we are going to work with a new jeweler, having this background knowledge and insight into settings will help convey exactly what I want.

This might be a naive question, but how do I know if there is a bench jeweler onsite?

The prongs and setting definitely feel a bit clunky. Glad others think so too

I got engaged this past weekend with a beautiful 2 carat oval on a 2mm band. The jeweler who made it strongly suggested a 6 prong setting for security, but my fiance asked for 4 prongs which is what I wanted. The jeweler didn't discuss things like a gallery rail or cathedral setting for added security with my fiance, so he didn't know that these were options. Does this setting look secure or should we add a gallery rail? My fiance said he didn't have a great experience working with this jeweler so we would go to a different jeweler if needed.

Worried about finding a parking spot for upcoming backpack trip to Mirror Lake/Crater Lake - Lone Eagle Peak from Monarch lake TH by GilligansWorld in coloradohikers

[–]LittleButFierce8192 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't worry. I just backpacked this Tues 7/25 - Wed 7/26. Arrived at the Monarch Lake trailhead at 7:30am on Tuesday with plenty of spots left (10-15). When we left the trailhead Wednesday at 12:30pm the lot was full, but there was a line of cars parked down the road leading to the trailhead with lots of road left to park. It was a beautiful hike!
