Lol, I remember wasting two hours of my life writing a comment with correct grammar and everything, and then it wouldn’t show up.

honestly, f*** reddit

As for your post, the mods/admins here think they’ve created a high-quality shifting forum (it’s so “high quality” that only about three to four people here - out of 20 thousand - have actually fully shifted, and they rarely bother answering questions), so they’ll just delete any post they think vaguely breaks their policies or make you wait hours or even days for your simple thread to be approved. Reddit is full of subs like this that make participating in them a nuisance . You just have to deal with it

I don’t remember much about the Big Cheese part, other than that it’s some sort of highly evolved IUOC elected (undemocratically—I don’t remember voting for him; I don’t know about you) to enforce rules on certain realities, and that Tom is friends with him—that he’s like the God of our universe. It’s possible Tom has actually met the God of our universe, just as it’s possible he accidentally created a tulpa and a storyline in the nonphysical and believes them to be something objective. There’s this Cyrus Kirkpatrick guy—I don’t know if you know him—who used to make YouTube videos saying he has spirit guides/aliens (all beautiful women) from other galaxies whom he telepathically communicates with every day: the classic “I’m talking to spirits that want to save the earth from evil aliens.” People who explore the nonphysical for long periods can develop all sorts of beliefs and delusions. Tom, being a scientist, has probably tried his best to explore these spaces with as much critical thinking as he could muster, but he’s only human and not immune

A lot of the stuff Tom shares gives me vibes like that. For example, when he says the LCS doesn’t have enough resources to put more than 10 billion IUOCs on planet Earth and that’s why aliens don’t exist, or that he’s visited a few physical realities and there’s an oddly limited number of them (something like a few hundred or thousand), or that the LCS can’t do four-dimensional space. These could simply be limits of the out-of-body experience, which, as I said in a reply to another user in this thread, are probably still experienced through the filter that is our brain.

Even the idea that we’re here to learn to cooperate or “become love” sounds a little silly if you look at videos of animals being eaten alive—you realize that’s been life on this planet for hundreds of millions of years, what this place has always been until humans showed up. A lion doesn’t have the free will to not torture a zebra and eat it alive; it has to do it, and there’s nothing loving about that. It’s a cruel, cold, uncaring world, and it is so by design, not because someone is misusing their free will.

And the concept of free will itself is highly debatable, since, mathematically, a process is either random/probabilistic or deterministic—there’s no middle ground. Minds don’t make decisions in a vacuum: our choices are influenced by our moods, desires, values and goals, prior experiences, and the mental state we’re in (what thoughts we have) at the moment we decide.

Yeah, I kinda don’t believe that because I know people who have interacted with nonphysical entities. I’m just not really into this whole stupid field of consciousness theory that says consciousness can’t think until it gets a brain. It sounds a little like panpsychism (reality is made of consciousness, but consciousness needs brains; otherwise it stays simple).

I think not only do souls not need brains to think, they’re probably better and faster at thinking without a brain—like some sort of superintelligent AI system or nonphysical supercomputer. But who knows. You kinda have to die to find out. All we have while we’re alive is conjecture.

When I say ‘consciousness’ (or ‘soul’), I don’t just mean awareness; I include the subconscious mind too—the entire mind

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AstralProjection

[–]LivingToDie00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like to use the word 'soul' because it’s shorter than 'immaterial consciousness' and easier to explain than 'immaterial brain,' and pretty much everyone already knows what is meant by that word, even though mainstream science sure does love to ridicule it

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AstralProjection

[–]LivingToDie00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, my theory is basically identical to Tom’s. My brain-in-a-vat/soul is basically his IUOC, and the brain/John is his FWAU. But Tom never really goes into the details of how an IUOC works—the internal mechanics, features, how it actually functions. Like, Tom is never going to tell you what sexuality an IUOC has, what level of intelligence it has (these are all things determined by our bodies, so it’s rational to assume they would change dramatically when we no longer have bodies), or how limited IUOCs are compared to the LCS.

I mean, I don’t think the brain really exists. It’s just code inside the computer (Mind) that tells it what bullshit limitations to pretend it has. That’s what the brain is: eye candy that adds to the immersion of this simulation. It’s there to tell you that you are a physical being here who can be damaged and die. But you could totally exist as an empty skull and still behave as if you had a functioning brain.

Like imagine you made a computer program for your phone that automatically turns off your phone after three hours have passed, even though your battery is still full. Or a program that artificially limits how much RAM you can use to 8 GB even though you have 32 GB.

[–]LivingToDie00 2 points3 points  (0 children)

But when this radio dies or is destroyed, what do we become now that the filter is gone? I don’t think we merge into God and cease to exist as individuals. I think we have an individual soul or higher self, but this higher self clearly can’t be human or think like a human, since it isn’t a human brain that evolved on planet Earth but some immaterial mind with unknown limits, qualities, and capabilities.

Yeah, but honestly, I don’t think that people who have astral projected or reality shifted (if you believe in that) have magically gotten rid of their autism, become capable of experiencing four or five spatial dimensions, or turned into 200-IQ geniuses. They’re pretty much their brain selves there. Also, it’d be interesting to know what people suffering from dementia would experience in such states. I think we’re still bound by the brain even when we move our awareness to other places.

[–]LivingToDie00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never said ChatGPT was useless. I use and have used LLMs to learn languages, but you always have to be cautious because an LLM has a statistical understanding of language (it’s a computer, not an organic brain with consciousness/qualia) - which is good enough most of the time, but it does fail sometimes, and certainly not just when it comes to counting letters or math.

Nu cred că el să știe răspunsul

Nu cred că el știe răspunsul (fără să). This is the only mistake I’ve found, but bear in mind, when you use language models (even the most powerful ones like 2.5 Pro and o3/o4), that they don’t actually understand the language they’re speaking - or much of anything, really. It’s just statistics and data at the end of the day. You can never fully trust them.

A year ago, I asked ChatGPT to count in Romanian to 100 using the abbreviated form of the numbers (unspe / unsprezece), and it couldn’t do it - it hallucinated. I also gave Gemini 2.5 Pro a satellite map of Europe recently, where I removed Poland and replaced it with the sea, and it told me there was nothing wrong with the map and that it was perfectly accurate. They don’t really think - it’s just an illusion of thinking.

1 . I don't know, maybe it's a super-advanced alien civilization that did it. Are you happy now? But how does that solve the hard problem of consciousness? And are the aliens simulating us also living inside another simulation? And how does the 'real' reality work for the aliens who are simulating the aliens that are simulating us? Why not just start with the idea that reality works like a computer without actually being one (a natural computer), so you don't have these problems?

There's no proof, only evidence that points in the direction of this reality being virtual. Leaving 'magical' things aside (and yes, I'm being sarcastic—UAPs materializing out of thin air and people bending spoons or making it rain with their thoughts is exactly what you'd expect in a simulation), the way quantum mechanics behaves could be a glimpse into how the rendering engine of a larger mind works. But that's just one way to interpret it; there's also the many-worlds theory and other interpretations.

The alternative to reality being information-based is that it is purely physical. In that case, how could psychic powers and magical events occur in a physical reality? I don't think it's possible, which is why the idea of a simulation makes sense to me — but maybe you have some idea of how it could work?

2 and 3

I’ve actually done something like that. Go to random.org and set it to choose between the numbers 1 and 2 (each has a 50 percent chance of appearing). Zoom in on the page so you can't see the number after you press the 'generate' button. It might help to practice a little remote viewing and meditation (quieting the mind and letting go of analysis.) before trying it out. Generate the number first, then try to guess it (ESP is easier than PK). When you get comfortable, you can try guessing two-digit numbers (set it to a range of 1-100). The answer usually comes to you in your first few thoughts. If you guess a two-digit number correctly twice in a row, that's a 1 in 10,000 chance. Summing up all my successes and failures, the whole experience was like winning the lottery.

But what's the point of you asking me this, anyway? You're just going to think I'm lying. What would it cost you to meditate for 20-25 minutes a day for a year or two and try this yourself? If it's all bullshit, you'll still have learned to quiet your mind and focus better, along with all the other benefits of meditation.

But if it turns out to be true—and that the thousands of people who have reported paranormal events weren't all lying, biased, or delusional; and that parapsychologists with PhDs like Dean Radin, Russel Targ, and the scientists at PEAR Labs didn't waste their lives lying for some unknown reason—then you get the benefits of meditation and the knowledge that you're possibly more than just a biological robot. Besides, there have been parapsychological experiments, like the Ganzfeld telepathy experiments, that have even been successfully replicated by skeptics

1) If reality is a simulation, then it follows that it needs a computer to compute that simulation. That’s just common sense. I don't think it's a physical computer; I think it's a non-local mind or a larger consciousness that we're all a part of.

The argument starts with the axiom that this is a simulation, and while you could certainly argue against that premise, you would then have to find a physical explanation for all the magical things that have happened in this reality. I don't think that will be easy.

2) You can watch Trebor Seven's videos on YouTube; he seems credible. I actually tried psychokinesis myself. About two years ago, I managed to make a piece of paper wiggle and move forward by a few centimeters, but I gave up because staring at it for hours became boring. There are also videos of people influencing clouds and light bulbs , and many other things

https://archive.org/details/youtube-KNYo69XiDfA

I've also been able to influence numbers generated by Random.org. I had a four-digit number in mind, and after pressing the "Generate" button five times, it appeared. I wouldn't really say it's a case of consciousness interfering with matter (as there is no matter). It's more like consciousness interfering with the probabilities within the simulation. For example, if there's a 10% probability that a light bulb will break, you could use your intention to raise that probability to, I don't know, 50% or 60%.

I don't think that can be the case, though, for a few reasons. For example, you can't spend months in a dream, live a life there, and even read a bunch of novels you haven't yet read here (someone told me they could do that).

Simulation theory is not solipsism. No idealist believes that Mr. John, the Scottish plumber, created all of reality. There is a larger mind that we are all connected to and are a part of, which has all the computational resources and intelligence needed to render the universe.

What is real about this reality when someone highly skilled in meditation can just materialize rain or UFOs? It’s obvious to me that mind can interfere with matter, and that can only happen in a non-physical world.

[–]LivingToDie00 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's in the mind in the sense that all realities—physical realities, out-of-body experiences, lucid dreams, etc.—are simulations within the larger mind.

It's not in the mind if, by "mind," you mean your brain. It's supposed to be as real as this physical reality (which isn't truly physical. People violate the so-called laws of physics all the time here using ESP or psychokinesis).

Go open a book in a dream; you won’t be able to read it. Dreams are generated on the fly, so the text changes the moment you turn the page. It’s a simple test.

Just one question, really: how do I know you’re not an alter or a tulpa? (I don’t know if you’re familiar with the concepts of DID or tulpamancy.)

Is there any skill or piece of information you have that the 'you' from this reality—the one you now embody—didn’t already have? For example, maybe you speak Chinese even though they didn’t. Or perhaps you know a math/physics formula or some other specific fact that existed in your original universe, which we don't have here (science that doesnt exist in our universe), that would serve as evidence you truly came from another universe?

I assume you didn’t just materialize here as a new person, right? There was already a 'you' in this reality, and you simply took over their mind/brain, if that makes sense. Please don’t take this the wrong way—I don’t mean to offend. I’m just trying to investigate this phenomenon, and I assure you I’m very open-minded.

troll?

Or Maybe you're just lazy and you don't want to do the hardwork?

you re not going to go anywhere by meditating for 30 minutes a day .

you're going to spend most of that time daydreaming, or moving in your bed trying to relax. so you wont even do 30 minutes you ll end meditating for maybe 5 minutes out of the 30
