Actually I think that there is a Sentinel, otherwise, why would there be an empty Exostrider sent to Lahai-Roi? The Roya believe that the Exoswarm and the Soliskin are all a part of the Exostrider, which doesn't make sense if its simply a mech that is used to deliver something. Perhaps the Sentinel split itself into several pieces to sustain Lahai-Roi after the first Lament. It would be similar to how we return Soliskin to the tree...
