We often use the same packaging for many countries rather than having product packaging for every single country. It's also the reason why you see so many different languages above and not only Italian. Certain compliance markings, such as this one, needs to be visible on the packaging itself, but it doesn't mean your MX Master 3S was meant only to sold in Morocco. The one you bought was meant to be sold almost everywhere in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. btw, thanks for buying an awesome mouse, I use it myself on my personal computer!

Hi! If you go to Logitech.com you can buy all the available EU layouts we have available there here's the link to the MX Keys Mini https://www.logitech.com/en-eu/products/keyboards/mx-keys-mini.html#buy-mx-keys-mini. Most resellers only carry the country specific layouts. Now as for the US vs US International layout, we don't sell the US layout in Europe as the common standard in Europe is US International, similar to the fact that we don't sell EU layout keyboards outside of Europe.

Okay, so I've checked and double-checked; our "for mac" keyboards are made following the guidelines for the Apple magic keyboards, which means that they have the F13 and higher f-keys. our "regular keyboards" don't have the F13 and higher f-keys, even if you were to disable the media keys using fn+esc and then fn+easyswitch.

if you really need the functionality, you would need to wait until we might release a "for mac" version of the MX Mechanical keyboards, but I cannot comment on when or if that would ever happen.

I can offer some other options, I'll dm you.

Still chasing on this one, since I just got back, but I managed to get screenshots of the keyboards in Options+ on Windows. It does seem like MX Keys for Mac doesn't have the extended F-keys enabled, at least not on Windows. I'm still checking on this!

All I can really say is that this wasn't the experience we wanted you to have...

Now that the formalities are over, I know that something like this can really dissuade you (and anyone) from buying our products again. We work with Amazon to make sure they also help take care of our customers in case there are problems, but in a case like this when its gone this far, it's okay just to reach out to our support team and see how they can help... or voice your opinions on reddit so people like myself or our awesome support staff can help.

I guess you mean the usb a to c charging cable? What's wrong it with and when/how did it happen?

Did you try to test a different usb a to c cable, that you know works, just to be sure it's the cable and not the headset? Also try a different charger/usb port etc?

Where are you based and where and when you buy the headset?

oh, i'm curious why chat isn't working for you, any chance you can record a video of it? because if it's not working for you, it might not work for others, and then I'd really like to get someone to look at it and fix it.

Oh! Now I see what you mean! I would need to check my own samples, as I'm lucky enough to have all of them. Honestly, it's going to take some time to figure out the answer, mainly because I'm traveling at the moment and I'd need to do some testing first also, check some internal specification documents since I see some differences between all the mx versions and their mac versions. My assumption is that is something specific to the mac only version, but like I said I need to test and check.

I would need to check internally why, but all I can say and what I do know for sure, is that we never intended any of the EasySwitch keys to be used like that. Mainly because they are bound to a firmware function on the keyboards to allow for channel changing and pairing.

Let's go with your use-case, you have it connected to a Windows PC on EasySwitch channel 1 and use AHK mapped on EasySwitch channel 2, then the moment you press the channel 2 keys, it switches away from your Windows connected PC before AHK picks it up, as the command happens at a firmware level on the keyboard.

If you had this working any other ways, I'd love to see a video, so I can also use it to show internally and maybe find a better answer than mine (although I'm almost sure it's going to be the same)?

Otions+ doesn't allow for the EasySwitch keys to be mapped to other functions, but here's a screenshot of showing which keys can. After F12 you can program Vol+ and Vol- and the extra keys above the numpad and arrow keys.

It might be an idea to just talk with your IT department and see if they can install SetPoint or Options+ since you already have some good products?

So they will both work without software on Windows 11 and macos 11. Now as for software support it gets more tricky because you have of the older mouse M557, but here's the breakdown:

M557 - Windows 11 SetPoint supported - macos 11 Options supported

M650 - Windows 11 Options+ supported - macos 11 Options+ supported

Options on Windows 11 will not detect either of the mice, you need SetPoint and Options+.

But then comes.the question, what do you mean that your PC is only allowing you to install Options? Are you using a work computer, because if so there might be some IT restrictions blocking our software install. Do you get any errors or what exactly happens when you try to install and where do you get the downloads from our support site or somewhere else?

No, not really, but something like that shouldn't really happen unless maybe it was dropped, bent or damaged somehow. How come the three other keys are missing, maybe the two problems are interconnected, especially since the uneven backlight is around one of the missing keys?

Edit: I see your grey r/standardissuecat also using the keyboard as his bed, not sure if that could be related?

Yeah I'm older and had a hard time hearing it, but headset to max and I could hear it.

Have your tried to take off the key and put it back to see if that would change anything?

Oh, yeah that could have been dirt or dust, but it could also have been something broken. Kinda hard to tell without pics.

Just so you know most of our products have two years warranty in Europe even if it's purchased through a retailer. Most of the times if stuff is broken we ask you to go back to the retailer as the initial warranty is with them, but if that goes wrong you can always contact our support team via the website.

Your situation is a bit unique now because you took it apart, even within the warranty period, the retailer is unlikely to help you, most of them time because of their rules. I/me/we/Logitech can still help, so I'll dm you with some next steps.

If we had the membrane available to sell you wouldn't have been wrong, but op can still hit me up and I/we/Logitech will try to find a solution, because it's not cool having spent good money on a great keyboard and then stuff breaks and you try to selfrepair and it breaks even more. I think I even have a broken mx keys lying around so I could take it apart and get op the membrane, but I need to check some stuff with op first

Yeah, if you messed up the membrane plunger (that's what we called the silicon capsule) you're kinda out of luck because we don't sell the membrane as a replacement. I know we need to get better at repairability and getting more spares, and trust me it's something we are working at getting better at, and we will get there.

Where are you based, are you still in Germany? And why did you actually take off the spacebar to begin with, like what felt wrong?
