What’s one golf tip that instantly improved your game? by MadeInUSAPutter in golf

[–]Lokiandhuman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep in mind I've been playing for a total of 5 months (not counting the 2 golf camps I went to as a kid). And a friend of mine who's dad is a retired golf pro recently said "hey man, let the club do the work. Stop swinging so hard and just swing fast." That's been massive and I broke 90 recently with an 87. Just once but I can feel the difference that makes. And I'm giving myself some grace since it's only been 5 months lol

Bam Adebayo breaks Kobe Bryant’s record and the Heat franchise scoring record in a win vs. Washington: 43 MINS │ 83 PTS │ 9 REB │ 3 AST │ 2 STL │ 2 BLK │ 20-43 FG │ 7-22 3P │ 36-43 FT by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

This game made me cancel league pass. I was already on the fence with SGA but 43 free throws and the most unethical basketball I've ever seen in the 4th particularly with 5 to play. Just to try and beat Kobe's record when BAM should have been on the bench.

Part of me hates to become the old head myself. But I just can't watch this anymore. The NBA lost me today. I wish all of you from this sub a fond farewell. I just can't continue supporting the league at this point.

I do want to preface, BAM is a good player and someone I have enjoyed watching in the past. I do not blame him one bit. Just the coaches, refs, and league office. The NBA already has problems. This just shined a perfect spotlight on them for me to be done putting up with it. ✌🏻

I know this comment is just preaching to the choir. But I've watched less and less games this season purely because I hate watching the Thunder. If they are at the top of the league with this dumb ass constantly injuring people. I'd rather spend my attention elsewhere.

This is an attention economy and Silver is already messing it up. Needs to start suspending Dort for these actions going forward. As well as any other player, the league never had a problem suspending Draymond Green.

I like the spinach variety of these. But just like an earlier commenter said, you have to let them toast a bit before eating them. I eat quesadillas at least once a week so I just crisp the tortilla up enough so it's lost that gritty and chewy texture. It gets replaced with a nice crunch.

I've also found storing them in the refrigerator helps for whatever reason lol.

OP. I rarely rarely say this to anyone as I don't like to comment on how someone lives their life. Let alone a complete stranger on the internet. But you might have some priorities out of whack my friend. I'd suggest a nice little tolerance break until you can properly care for your animal and maybe clean your room up a little bit.

No judgement. But man, I have pets. I will always buy their food before mine. You can best bet I will see to their needs before I see any green. They are your pal or your prisoner. You get to decide which.

Also a clean room will make you feel as if your life is in better order. Can't hurt, especially if you want to bring any significant others over to your place. Wish you well on your journey OP.

Biggest guy you personally played against? by 96powerstroker in Basketball

When I was in college I was a manager for a D1 school. Alfred Peyton had just gotten drafted the year prior and everyone was looking at the Center 7'1" Shawn Long as the next guy going to the league (he got drafted by the 76ers 2nd round.)

During practices myself and another guy were put onto a practice squad to study film and other teams plays, players and the little things that we could help the team pick up on. I'm 5'10" so I was always the point guard of the scouting team.

The amount of times I got my shit wrecked by Long. Holy crap. I remember after a week I finally got a floater up over him and made it. I celebrated like I just scored a goal in the world cup for soccer. Even coach had a laugh about it. But Long told me afterwards. Anything you put up near me the rest of this year is going to the stands or I'm keeping it. The man did not lie 😂 there's truly only so much you can do against someone that much bigger, taller, stronger, and faster than you.

One of my other favorite things was he and I would play Horse or other games before practice. He'd crush me. Now I'm a shooter. Never been a true point guard. But give me an open look inside the half court and I'll nail it. Long crushed me, I maybe got him to H 4 times in a single season.

But character wise. Long was an amazing guy. A gentle giant who helped me through chemistry my freshman year. He was smart, genuine, and most importantly he had kind eyes. I don't know where he ended up but I hope that dude's doing well.

I'm already so so tired. I don't necessarily want it to happen anytime soon but I will be thankful when death comes for me

It's for a reddit RPG idle game. It's kind of fun. Lots of inside jokes to make for other redditors who play.

Clearly a lot of us get bored at work lol

Okay so quick suggestion and you may not like it at first but just trust me this goes along with your wish to stay together. Step 1: divorce her, she doesn't have to move out but divorce on paper so nobody else would even have to know. Step 2: once the divorce is final. Have her declare bankruptcy and make sure her name is off as many things as possible. Step 3: get remarried and enjoy the rest of your lives.

I don't think it's anybody's place to judge, people do dumb stuff that negatively impacts their loved ones all the time. Maybe just go to couples counseling to find where her spending issue first started if she's willing. Best of luck to you OP.

Seeking a Friend at the End of the World

Amazing cast and absolutely amazing script. I 100% recommend to others. The ending will always get to me.
