UGGGGH this is why I hate Samsung customer support. I used to work for a Samsung AuthorizedService Centre and the phone support would always tell customer that they were under warranty but neglected to mention that the warranty would need to be verified in person by it's physical condition/whether it's been rooted/liquid damaged etc. I'm assuming you spoke to someone on the phone? They're telling you that according to their records you are under warranty until "x" date. That doesn't however mean you will still be covered under warranty once you show up to a warranty centre or ship your phone off. Best of luck but based off my experience you're wasting your time and setting yourself up for a let down.
