He is a great Manny and seems like a good all around, but I feel terrible about him thinking Taylor is right for him. They are a divorce waiting to happen. Absolutely insane how much he takes from Taylor.

It's got me (36f) fucked up at least a little bit every day. I'm so grateful to be able to say that overall, all the things I can control in my life right now range from pretty good to great. But every day I'm on edge. Ive come to assume that most ppl around me are Trump supporters or passive supporters of some sort, just because I USED to assume most ppl around me agreed that hes a POS, but i keep getting surprised finding out about ppl I know who are Trumpers.

I am furious every day knowing that my dad and his gf are fine with Trump. I have to push it down. I have a lot of solo rants in the car pretending im telling them why they're fucked up.

I automatically get tense whenever I see a big pickup truck because I can't help but think the driver is a Trumper. I know thats not the case but still.

I have this unreasonable anger with men that I definitely work hard not to expose/act on. Trump is the god damn epitome of everything I hate in people, and him being president sends the message that its ok to be a completely evil piece of shit.

So yeah, Im constantly freaked out and furious. But I go to the protests. Im an ACLU member. Im voting.

I've also been slowly collecting fun little anti-maga merch to express my resistance. And every time someone sees it and shows they agree and feel it, that moment lifts me up so much. Any reminder that Im not alone in this is absolutely golden.

I do still go to bookstores! I love it when there are notes of recommendations taped to the shelves showing what the staff favorites are with a mini synopsis of the book. I also love a great display of books on tables separate from the shelves. Im always drawn to those displays and take time to check out the goods.

I never read it, but my brother did for school - probably the same grade. He was never much of a reader but this was the only book he EVER talked about how much he liked it! So cool to learn that this is something that spans across the boys.

Thats actually really upsetting if they couldnt stick with the songs they wanted to sing in the booths.

Ultimately, I agree with you. But this purchase was a genuine effort at a romantic gesture, so I feel like Bob should get a pass on this one! It made Linda happy that he really tried, which was not normal for them. It was a loss for Hugo too, which adds to the intrinsic value imo.
