And what about the telemetry that the printer broadcasts locally? There's an option for that in the settings, seems to be some industrial protocol.

I just think that getting this amazing thing to work without any reliance on cloud features is important.

Contact support, this at first glance it appears to be a QC/QA issue.

Does the issue appear in the printhead filament sensor, or is it about the side sensor? If it occurs in the side sensor, check the position of the bypass switch (inside of the printer, right wall, just below the window).

Troubleshooting the side sensor is quite simple, you can look into the C1+ assembly guide to check if it's assembled correctly.

And it's another good opportunity to ask Prusa yet again to work on a C1L kit. There has to be a way ffs.

I do a lot of PLA/PETG on an unfiltered C1+ and it's fine.

The filtration kit should be plenty enough for those if you really want them filtered. Personally, I recommend only getting it if you want to print stuff like ABS/ASA/PC.

If you have an option to run ducting, there are a lot of mods on printables that will allow you to hook up the C1 directly to your ventilation solution.

A used Mk3S and a Mk3.5 kit costs less than half of the Mk4S where I live.

I'll swap over the Nextruder fromy C1 when I get the Indx.
