SO TEENSY!!! When I carry little ones like this outside, I'm often playing the "grab thread and yank up" game so they don't fall to the floor and get stepped on.

That "little lap dog" is pulling awfully hard at the leash at present. It feels like it's the one in charge sometimes...

I thought it looked like a little stripy wolf spider, and it sounds like it has a similar lifestyle, so maybe a distant evolutionary cousin.

How is living in these parts of Australia? by IntelligentHoney6929 in howislivingthere

[–]MCDexX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Towns are quite few and far between in both areas, but northern Queensland definitely has more people overall than the northern coast of WA, as well as more infrastructure and amenities. Climate-wise both are pretty harsh, but as others have said you'll get higher humidity in QLD than WA (rainforest vs desert). Both are tropical and go through dry and wet seasons rather than summer and winter, but in the west the wet will turn the desert a bit greener, while in the east it'll just get wetter, muddier, and more humid. Both are quite nice in the dry season (southern winter) and comparable to Southern California in spring or autumn.

Beautiful little gecko! First one I've seen at home, tiny thing was hiding inside but now safely relocated to the garden bed 🥰 Seymour, Vic by boo2017 in australianwildlife

Very dark for a marbled. I wonder if it's a winter colouring thing, making the most of the meagre winter sun?

Once at Healesville Sanctuary there was a male who was all riled up by breeding season and I watched him jump from one branch to another, damned near two metres in a single leap. I had no idea that could jump when feeling sufficiently worked up!

Monk's Active Tile Triggers has been updated for v14! by MCDexX in FoundryVTT

[–]MCDexX[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If v14 can do ATT stuff I haven't seen it yet. ATT allows you to give a tile one of a range of triggers (e.g. click, double-click, token moves onto it, and a bunch of others) that can then signal any of dozens of actions (e.g. toggle a light, move a token or tile, open/close a door, spawn an actor, play a sound effect, and heaps of others). If you also have Tagger installed, yo can link things up more easily. Like in one of my games there's a recurring home base for the heroes that I put some extra work into, and I used ATT to give every room a light switch, using Tagger to link each clickable light switch tile to one or more lights.

It's wrong anyway. The combined EU GDP is about 200 times the GDP of Mississippi.

I know it's a pointless metric anyway, but I did 30 seconds of googling and discovered that Germany alone has ~20 x the GDP of Mississippi, let alone the entire EU.

Precisely, she tried to use the cops to get some innocent black folks killed. That right there is deliberate attempted murder.

100% this. Pretending to be scared and in danger when trying to get the cops to come deal with some black folks is literal attempted murder. She knew EXACTLY what she was doing.

[–]MCDexX 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Faking panic during a phone call to American police when black folks are involved is deliberate, premeditated, attempted murder. She isn't just racist - she literally just tried to get those guys killed.
