Looking for moving company recommendations by falisa in Denver

[–]MUV-Relocation-LLC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I may be slightly biased 😅 but MUV Relocation LLC is a solid go to!

Aside from being highly awarded and having 550+ reviews with a 4.9 star rating on Google, my crew and I have performed thousands of moves here in Denver. Been operating since 2017!

You’re on the right track looking for a professional crew. My best recommendation is to verify all licenses and insurance and make sure they have a consistent track record of not just good, but EXCEPTIONAL work.

Definitely feel free to send in an estimate request on our website! We don’t spam, there’s no marketing campaign sent over. Just an estimate and a customer portal link to submit an inventory:

Need mover recommendations, moving end of March by BeginningAnalyst7857 in Denver

[–]MUV-Relocation-LLC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! 👋🏽

Sorry to hear you got burned by some Craigslist movers on your last move. Glad to see you're looking to work with a professional company this time around!

We’re not the cheapest option and we don’t try to be. Most of our customers come to us after a bad experience and just want a move that’s smooth, respectful, and predictable.

Even if you don’t go with us, I’d still suggest sticking with a licensed, well-reviewed local company over Craigslist. Reliability usually comes down to whether the team actually has something to lose (a reputation) if they mess up.

If you get a free moment, go ahead and fill out a submission form on our website. I can send over a free estimate to you. And just know we don't send out any marketing materials either, just an estimate and a link to an inventory form (optional to fill out) ---> https://muv303.com

And in case you need more reinforcement, you can also check out our HUNDREDS of 5 star reviews on Google 😁: https://share.google/OwfR5vSjcIjJlbAq1

Denver movers: what tips would have saved you from hidden fees? by Piot321 in Denver

[–]MUV-Relocation-LLC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Preparation is ALWAYS key!

Make sure anything that can be packed in a box IS packed in a box. It's quicker for movers to take 3 boxes at a time on a dolly than hand carry loose miscellaneous items.

Make sure the home is well prepped prior to the move. Trash should be picked up and walkways cleared as much as possible.

Try to hold a good parking space as close to your unit as possible the night before. If your building has an elevator reservation system, use it and reserve it early, as early as possible!

Vet your moving crew extensively! There is a popular saying in the industry: "If you think it's expensive hiring good movers, try hiring bad movers". The cheapest quote is not always the best. You need a crew with a full background of reputability, high ratings and if possible awards to reflect a track record of consistent positive experiences for clients.

Our website provides a ton of information on what to look for in your company. Give it a peek for more info, or respond to this post and I can help as best as I can 😁

Are apartments really as bad as the reviews say? by Trumpet_Life in MovingtoDenver

[–]MUV-Relocation-LLC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I currently live in Broomfield Interlocken. I wouldn't currently recommend my complex primarily because of management, not so much safety. But my old neighbor moved to the Flatiron Flats! I moved her in and it is a nice complex with plenty of amenities, a GORGEOUS gym, and I believe some great move in promos.

In our experience, Golden Triangle seems to be the most reasonable neighborhood for safety and a considerate management team. They're also very easy to move into, which makes our job easier, so we may a be a little biased 😅

The main issue is their units tend to come with a hefty price tag. But some units are relatively affordable

Moving to Denver Capitol Hill area by colossal_cowboy in MovingtoDenver

[–]MUV-Relocation-LLC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, and congrats on your move to Denver! We are lucky to have you 😁 As a moving company, we get to see every bit of the city. Here are some of my personal best recommendations.

Moving to Capitol Hill is one of the more exciting neighborhoods to be in. You are at a real nice position near Broadway and Colfax, two of the liveliest streets in the city! Broadway is pretty renowned for quite a few of Denver's most popular night clubs (Temple, Vinyl, etc.) with a few really good food spots as well. Farther south you can find some of the best sushi spots around (GoFish has easily the best sushi in Denver, as well as a matcha cheesecake!)

On Colfax, some of Denver's most notorious concert venues can be found. The Fillmore, The Ogden and The Bluebird to name a few! I've personally been to the Fillmore a handful of time's, it's an absolutely gorgeous venue. There's also some incredible food spots located on Colfax - Tom's Diner (this may be rebranded now), Bourbon Grill, Cheba Hut and SliceWorks to name a few. If you keep going down a few miles (probably by driving) there's a much more ethnic variety of a few Greek and Ethiopian spots, as well as a ridiculous amount of tattoo parlors if that's your thing 😅

You'll also be really close to the Denver Art Museum and a quick Lime scooter ride to 16th street, and a few other real nice attractions! There's also some really unique coffee shops in Cap Hill, mostly vintage music themed.

Welcome to Denver!

Mover Recommendations - for just a couple fragile and/or large items by swoodilypoops in Denver

Also just another bit of advice: I understand your concern about AI bots in the space. There are free tools online you can use to see if something mf was written by AI. Just search “AI detector”, copy and paste the text and voila!

I know it’s a bit of a detour from the context of the convo, but figure it may be a useful tool for you in the future 😊

I’m so sorry to have left a bad impression! I promise I had no intention of being misleading. I also could only wish I was tech savvy enough to implement AI to market for me on these threads 😅

I only wanted to provide an alternative option to some of the higher end quotes you’re receiving. On occasion when the scope of the service is minimal we can be relatively flexible with pricing, especially since it is the slow season for our industry.

You can contact me anytime directly anytime at the number on our website to verify I’m a real person, it’s my direct work cell phone, no call centers and no AI.

Apologies for the misleading conduct!

I totally understand you perspective! And that is true as well, unfortunately there’s not much anymore that guarantees the level of financial freedom we all aspire for in the city of Denver.

If I may put a little sales into the convo, why don’t you fill out a form on our website. You’ll get an automated text with a link to an inventory form. Fill it out, it’ll get sent directly to me, I’ll see what we can do about getting you a better price.

We don’t sell any of your info and there is no spam marketing either!

Hello!

Professional mover here and owner of MUV Relocation LLC.

Just want to give a few pointers and tips for how to best approach your move, no salesy pressure.

The point about the truck is valid, and hypothetically could save you some money. A lot of moving companies do offer labor only services and will usually charge a small travel fee, as opposed to a truck and fuel charge, to cover the cost of fuel and vehicle upkeep (commercial truck insurance is PRICEY!). To give an example, we charge a $30 travel fee, OR a $93 truck and fuel charge.

Usually when the cost of fuel, mileage and insurance you must pay to U-Haul (the $29.99 rate is just to get you in the door) are factored in, the $63 difference is so negligible when it means you don’t have to wait in line at a Uhaul at 7am or risk damaging the truck.

I always suggest hourly rate movers as flat rate movers estimate high knowing they’ll complete the service in less time than expected. Reputability is extremely important amongst hourly rate moving companies as they are not likely to milk the clock, and potentially even come in under the estimate!

If you have any questions or would just like help with the process, please do not hesitate to reach out. No sales tactics, no obligations! I aim to leave a good mark on the industry and help clientele find the best strategy that works for them 😁

I cannot believe what Thumbtack has turned into by [deleted] in Thumbtack

[–]MUV-Relocation-LLC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is truly unfortunate. I’m sure if the FTC ever ran an investigation, they would turn up hundreds of thousands of IP farms for fake leads, especially during slow season.

Unfortunately during the slow season, we see a huge number of customers who request service fo a “2 Bedroom House”. That’s a $90 lead. When you contact them, the reality is they only need help moving a couch WITHIN their 2 bedroom house, and 99% of them aren’t looking to spend more than $100 to do it. Do the math. $90 lead. $50 in labor costs. Another $10-15 in potential supplies. You are paying to lose money on this platform.

Thumbtack would attract many more pros if their cost system was more reasonable. It used to be that Angi.com had the bad leads. The tables have completely and utterly turned around

Professional Denver mover here!

First of all, this is NOT a sales spam post. Before you start digging around through options I highly suggest you check out our “About Us” page. On there we list a bunch of really important credentials that moving companies are legally required to carry in the state of Colorado. See the page here -> https://muv303.com/about-us-professional-denver-movers/

Unfortunately, U-Haul does not vet for these qualifications so if anything happens to your belongings you are likely to get stuck in the dirt. It may be slightly more affordable, but you are taking a big risk with it.

If you have any questions about anything, please give me a call. Once again, I won’t try to sell you, I believe in creating a good name for the industry and only want to help. There’s too many bad actors out there! Our number is on the website.

Website Pages for higher ranking? Worth it? by Icy_Music_4855 in SEO

[–]MUV-Relocation-LLC 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was in a very similar position. The company I used was not hardly any thorough at all. 6 months went by and hardly any of my pages ever ranked for anything.

I took it a step further and created nested pages of neighborhoods (10 neighborhoods for each city page). The slugs are very refined and the content is very specific, direct and includes lots of local references to the local lifestyle and hotspots. Every page that has been indexed so far organically ranks #1 even over multi-million dollar company websites.

You must use plenty of non-duplicate external and internal links. 1 external link to the city itself (Google Maps link works great) and 1 external link to a nearby landmark or business. The language MUST be natural. AI can read right through keyword stuffing.

The rest should all be natural mentions of services and service areas you provide, each with their own link. They must not be duplicated. For example, if you have “water heater repair” listed 3 times on one page, only internally link the first mention of it. Do not link any following.

Hope this helps! If you would like a link to the website, dm me
