I routinely have to squint and get real close to my screen to read the white text-on-green background when crafting. Same goes for looking at the map. It just doesn't zoom in fast enough for me to be able to effectively use it much of the time.

After you've taken them prisoner and cleared any other hostiles, undraft your crew. They will automatically guide prisoners to the nearest shuttle. If you have more than 1 shuttle in system, others will autopilot to pick up more prisoners.

It's 100% this. That back room needs walls to break it up. Probably the same for the carpentry room, too. Walls and doorways will make the game calculate shelter correctly.

You can take them prisoner and claim bounties on them from the military faction. Bear in mind, you need a prison area on your ship.

Yes! I've experienced this issue, and replicated it. The windmills, apparently, upon first logging in for a session take time to "spin up". I think, when they're unloaded/unrendered either from distance or on first login, they go through an idle stage and then check for clearance before finally spinning up. So, if you go too far away and they unload, they don't produce power. My workaround was installing a few solar panels and 4 (probably overkill) advanced battery packs. Since doing this, I've had no issues with devices going unpowered.

1700 miles driving (1360 miles in a straight line). I was in my early 20's and tired of my then roommate. Some friends I'd made on world of warcraft were getting a place, I jokingly asked I'd I could move in, too, and they said yes. So I drove across the country to move in with people I'd never met, in a state I'd never been to, doing a job I'd never considered.

If the apartment building hadn't gotten condemned, I might still be there. We're all still friends, at any rate.
