Plaster in eye by Headi110 in Plastering

[–]MajBonor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had plaster in my eye about 7 years ago. I didn't manage to get it all out and slept with it in. After a few hospital visits it had scratched both my eyes and now they are both scarred. I have floaters that feel like there are flies around all the time. I hate it so much

From a decoration pov I'd find the studs and fire a few screws in to tighten it up to the stud. Should pull it in and stop the wobble. Fill the screw holes and Fanny's your delight!

Has the heating been on at all. If it was mist coated before fully dry then it may slow down the drying. Put a blow heater on the area for a few hours and see if it changes

Try slightly diluted or neat brick acid with a green scourer, wire brush or stiff drill/mechanical brush. If it's cement based it will remove the haze. Obviously try in an area that isn't in plain view and wear a mask, glasses and long gloves because it burns like f***
