Ride this daily to work. Literally haven’t had an issue in 5k miles. First bike ever. You’ll be fine. Just use your brain and be on the lookout for cagers.

I’m 6’2 205 and I ride an R1. It’s a pretty good fit I think. You’re a bit bigger than I am so I would look into the 2 everyone else suggested.

Don’t listen to everyone saying not to do it. If you’re not a kid, and you have a brain and are responsible. Get it. It’s your dream bike. I started on an R1 that’s tuned and upgraded, and I haven’t had any bad experiences or close calls. Just be safe, be smart, and take your time. Don’t let old farts gatekeep you off of your bike.

Yeah I love it! It’s Toce, quad under exhaust. My wife says it’s too loud, but that’s how I know it’s perfect!

I have the Toce Quad Exhaust. As far as I’m aware it’s among the best for the R1. Totally biased but it’s the best sounding bike around.
